The title was inspired by the song Save our Tots! . And yes, i'm still madly addicted to Helldivers 2. This was a commemorative piece I commissioned ib!lyrial recently to draw for me as a fond remembrance of the Vernen Wells operation. I wanted to have a WW2 style poster, and he really did well to delvier!
For context, there was a point when the Helldivers were given a moral dilemma; to take over one planet that held facilities that can enable the production of anti-tank mines to use in the Second Galactic War, or to save another planet where people were trapped in a location called "Super Citizen's Anne's Hospital for Very Sick Children", which includes thousands of children hoping to be rescued from the automaton assault.
Regardless of the 'community rioting' apparently right now (that seems to be the buzz-phrase on YouTube), the reality is... yeah, game is still fun as hell. And as far as I'm concerned, that's all that a game needs.
(Also, hell yeah, drop them pods for the kids!)
