That reminds me of a good joke on an animated show—it might have been The Simpsons, or maybe it was a kids' cartoon, but anyway the main character was also waiting for a long time for something, and he passed the time, lots of fades, it showed him doing stuff that genuinely takes hours, like I think he shoveled snow or did homework or something? Anyway, he did all that stuff and the clock went backward. 😏
