Last year, on 28 July 2023, we lost a good friend in SenZontova. Without repeating stuff that I've already said, I just want to say that between LuckyAiza's reuploading of his content to SenZontovaForever and continuing the 'Cub-Sittin' Kitten' comic/story, I'm also hoping to continue the main universe story of Melecia Mousemmer and Caedyn Squirrellis and their families. In my chats with him, SenZ had told me of his future plans for his universe and where he was hoping to take the story, and I hope I can do him justice in continuing it. When SenZ last drew them in the story, Cae had very courageously asked Mel to be his girlfriend, and she said yes.
So I've drawn them, reassuring everybody that their story isn't finished yet! I know I'm currently in the process of two (possibly three, depending on how you look at it!) stories in my own universe at the moment, but they have writing behind them and just need to be drawn. At the very least, I'll get some story plans down on paper!
I deliberately didn't want to do a sombre piece for this memorial piece (which is a few days late due to my being away and then getting a bout of food poisoning... but that's all by the by!) as I've already done one of those, and I really don't think sombre is what SenZ would want. He was far too upbeat in life for that, despite the few problems he faced, and did have a bit of a dark humour anyway. (There is another piece incoming from another artist that I've had to explain that 'yes, this is a memorial, but yes, I do want his characters in this situation!')
