I don't know the inspiration. This is different from her other work, so she may've been looking at something.

This drawing was too big for my scanner, so I had to graft it together. It's not perfect, but whatever.

First off you did an excellent job putting this together and
second I'm running out of words to express how amazed I am
at the beauty of your mothers art. :D

And secretly, after seeing THIS piece, I'm hoping against hope that
she did a Celtic Knot! That would be the cherry on top! :D
