The Kemuri family has lived in America for generations now. One of an early wave of Japanese settlers to the US, Yozakura's ancestors established The Evening Sakura in Santa Barbara in the 1860's. Kept in the family ever since, the Evening Sakura is a tea house and tea shop that has grown to sell the finest teas from around the globe, though obviously with a focus on fine Japanese teas.

Ever since Yozakura was a little girl, she's been enamored by teas. The variety of what was, ostensible, so simple a drink was a fascination that she just couldn't shake. Each kind has its own ideal brewing conditions. Each brand and mix has different factors that go into when it should be served and with what. Now the proprietor of the Sakura, she gets to live her dream every day.

Chilibi. This one's a bit different though, as she's a custom character rather than an adopt. I've been wanting a Snep for some time now, so I combined that idea with the flower characters (cherry blossom is Yozakura's theme, if it wasn't obvious) that they've been doing, and Yozakura is the result. Much as Rorick has some background characters in his life, so too should Elyssa. I can see her enjoying a matcha latte after a long surf session and The Evening Sakura is certainly a hangout that she'd go to get one.
