This already looks so good! The little Grace sprite looks so good, as does the headshot for Maddy, and ooh! A game, eh? I'm very curious to see what you might do with this, and where the adventure might lead! Too all sorts of mischief, no doubt, if Maddy's involved, but I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun along the way, too.

I wish I knew more about games from the development/creative end to offer more sensible comments, but I like where this is going already and if this is what you'd like to focus on for a while, I'm all for it!

I just hope you'll find a proper balance between ambitions and real life responsibilities. It's a bane of many people, taking on multiple large projects at one time and failing to complete any, because real life got in the way. In a similar way BOTGG crashed and burned, because you've overvalued your capabilities~
