Here’s another video compilation, this time; it’s the German steam locomotives Trap The German Tank Engine and Birdina The German Tender Engine
Back in the late 1950s to before 1975, Trap The German Tank Engine would do push-pull passenger trains on the branch lines and secondary route while Birdina The German Tender Engine does heavy goods trains on the mainline. During that period, the German Federal Railway in the West Germany have decided to transition from steam to diesel locomotives to keep up with the times.
Since both Trap and Birdina are both preserved and owned by Northern Nathan Railway Preservation Society and The Strict Controller’s Railway; they can now do the same duties just like the old days.
