Mittens Harriet Cat is doing some lawn work: raking the leaves, mowing the lawn, and tending the flowers. She has just finished when she hears a flapping noise, she turns around to see Tullula Julie Toucanlanding on her lawn. Mittens and Tullula finally greet and meet each other since they last met as university students. Mittens invites Tullula for tea with her boyfriend Timmothy Edgar Tomcat.

After a year and a half of creating Tullula Julie Toucan, she finally makes her first appearance.
