It is a stormy Monday as many cubs arrive at the school. Two of them being the eleven-year-old Lynx named Benjamin, and the eleven-year-old brown bear Daniël. They greet each other in the bike stalls, and walk towards their classroom. What is unusual is that the students are looking forward towards school, since they are excited for an upcoming school trip.

“I can’t wait.” Daniël cheerfully says.

“For what, the trip?” Benjamin asks.

“No, for the pacer test today.” He sarcastically replied.

“I thought you hated those.” Benjamin replied, being confused.

“Of course I hate them, no one likes them but you!” The bear cub says, starting to get annoyed by his friend’s stupidity. “I was being sarcastic.”

“Ow, sorry.” Benjamin softly says, feeling bad as he notices his only friend getting irritated.

“Three days of walking around different museums.” Daniël visions the trip.

“Do you really like that?” Ben asks, being surprised by what his friend says.

“It beats maths and PE.” Daniël Responds.

“Fair enough.” Ben says. “I guess I’m also excited, but it’s just…” He starts before being interrupted.

“What, your pull-ups?” Daniël asks.

“A little louder, the other kids can’t hear you.” The Lynx responds shocked and annoyed.

“So you can understand sarcasm.” Daniël chuckles. “Don’t worry, our classmates already know for years, remember.” He says. “They know the reason why, and are cool about it.”

“Most of them, yeah.” Ben says. “But a couple…”

“Elioth and Samuel?” Daniël asks, having noticed many times that the class bullies have made fun of him multiple times.

“Yeah.” the lynx admits.

“Don’t worry, if they make fun of you, then I’ll make them regret it.” Daniël says as he hugs his friend. Then the bell rings. “We need to hurry up!”

They quickly rushed inside the classroom and sat at their seats as the teacher started the day.

“Good morning class.” The teacher, a golden retriever named Ms. Brown greets her class. “I’m guessing you guys can’t wait for the school trip in three weeks.” She guessed.

“Yeaah!” The students cheer, taking a while to calm down.

“All right then, I have a lot of information, but first; the overnight stay.” She starts. “We’ll be staying at a youth hostel for those two nights. There are two rooms of four and two rooms of eight, and we are with 22 students.” she adds. “Now you can make groups, I’m sure you guys are mature enough to do so.”

Benjamin turned to Daniël. “We’ll obviously be together right?” He asked.

“Yeah sure.” Daniël responds as he zoned out.

“C-cou-could I also be with you g-guys?” A nervous voice asks. The two of them look at who it is; a nine-year-old panther cub named Percy, small and wiry. His classmates don’t know a lot about him, only that he likes to read and that he has trouble making it to the bathroom in time. He’s extremely shy, and rarely talks to people.

Daniël and Benjamin look at each other. “Sure.” They said, needing someone else to go in their room.

“Thank you.” Percy says, shocked by their answer. “Is it okay if I bring my plushie?” He asks as he clings onto a plush dragon.

“You still need to take your plushie with you.” Daniël burst into laughter, causing the poor panther to turn red with shame.

“Y-yes.” Percy stammers like a cat on hot bricks.

“Forgive my friend.” Ben tells Percy as he frowns at Daniël. “Don’t worry, We won’t make fun of you for sleeping with a plushie” He assures him. “Right Daniël?”

“All right.” He sighs. “Sorry for poking fun at you.”

“It is okay.” Percy respondes. “I’ll admit that it is kind of babyish.” He says embarrassed.

“Don’t worry about it.” Benjamin says soothingly. “If it helps you feel better, I can bring mine, then you won’t be the only one.” He offers.

“Really, you’d do that?” The panther asks.

“Of course buddy.” Ben says as he ruffles his fur, causing the cub to smile.

“All right, tell me who you want to be in a room with and then we’ll get started.” Ms Brown says.

Three weeks later, the class is supposed to assemble at 7:00 at school. Benjamin is the first one, and sees percy getting dropped off by his father.

“So, are you excited for the trip?” His father asks.

“A little.” He says nervously as he hugs his plushie tightly.

“It’ll be okay.” His father assures him. “You’ll make lot’s of new friends.”

In response, the little cub hugs his dad. “I love you.”

“I love you too kiddo.” He says as he ruffles his fur. “Oh and try to make it to the bathroom in time.” He tells him, pointing at the waistband of his lion-guard pull-ups peeking out.

“I’ll try.” He says blushingly, happy that almost no one was there to hear him.

“And remember to take your medication.” His father adds.

“Yes dad.” He replies, having heard that multiple times.

“All right, I’ll have to go to work now.” His father hugs him for a final time. “Have fun.” He pets him.

“Thanks, bye dad.” He waves as his father has to leave again. He then walks up to Benjamin, who unbeknownst to him, overheard the conversation.

“Hey buddy, are you ready for the trip.” Benjamin asks him, glad that he isn’t the only one that has to wear pull-ups.

“Y-yeah.” He nervously replies as he hugs his dragon companion.

“I see you brought your plushie.” The lynx says. “I also brought mine, then you won’t be the only one.” He tells him as he shows him his plush panda.

“Thank you.” The panther smiles as he calms down a bit.

“Don’t worry, I’ll promise you that I will never make fun of you.” Ben tells him as he ruffles his head.

“Thank you.” Percy smiles at him. He then looks at the visible diaper bulge on his pants, and gets worried. “Please don’t find out.” He thinks to himself.

The teacher then notices them. “Good morning Percy and Ben, you guys can already go inside.” She tells them. “If you want to, you can put your bags in the luggage compartment, but then you won’t be able to get it until we arrive in the evening at the youth hostel.”

“All right Ms.” The two cubs reply. Benjamin takes out his lunch and  quickly puts away his bag, and Percy thinks about it as well, before remembering that his changing supplies are in his backpack. “I’ll take my bag with me.”

“Sure.” Benjamin says. “Since we’re the first, we can sit in the back, then Daniël can sit next to us as well.” He tells him as they get on the bus, greet the bus driver and go to the back in order to sit down . He then attempts to break the ice. “So, what things do you like to do in your free time?”

“I mostly play music.” Percy responds.

“Cool, which instrument?” Benjamin asks.

“Well I can play saxophone, and I’m also learning how to play trumpet.” Percy says.

“That’s impressive.” He notes. “I play guitar.”

“Really, how many songs can you play?” The panther asks.

“A couple.” Benjamin replies. “Can you play the pink panther theme?” He jokes.

“Really?” Percy rolled his eyes. “But yes, I can play that.”

The two of them continue to chat as more cubs arrive, talking about hobbies, favourite music and favourite games.

“Is everyone here?” Ms. Brown asks as she counts all the students. “We’re missing one more student.”

“Daniël is missing Ms.” Benjamin explains to her.

Just then, the bear cub runs inside the bus, soaking wet from the rain. “Sorry for being late Ms.” He frantically apologises.

“Don’t worry Daniël, you’re perfectly on time.” The teacher replies.

Daniël goes to the back and sits next to Ben and Percy.

“What happened to you?” Benjamin asks.

“What do you think?” Daniël replied, annoyed.

“Nevermind then.” Benjamin tells himself.

They soon start driving, and the teacher gets up. “Good morning class, I hope you guys are excited for this two-day-trip.” She started. “Today we’ll first go to a museum, then we’ll eat at a local restaurant, and then we’ll go to a theatre.” She explains. “It will be a three hour drive.”

“This day will be awesome.” Daniël cheers, getting more excited as his bad mood goes away.

“Yeah.” Percy agrees, as he starts to get fidgety.

“Are you okay buddy?” Benjamin asks.

“Yeah I’m fine.” Percy nods.

“All right then.” The lynx shrugs as he opens his bag and gets his lunchbox, and starts eating his sandwich.

Percy also got his lunchbox. As he opens his bag, Daniël is able to catch glimpses of a pill bottle labelled “Diuretics”. The bear is confused for what it is, but decides that it is best not to ask.

“So what did you guys bring?” Percy curiously asks.

“Just a peanut butter sandwich and some chocolate chip cookies.” Ben replies.

Daniël also looks for his lunch, but then notices something. “Ow no!”

“What’s wrong?” Percy asks as he crosses his legs.

“I, I forgot my lunch.” Daniel says panically.

“You did seem to be in a hurry.” Percy remarks. “Don’t worry, you can have some of mine.” He offers.

“Really? Thank you Percy.” The bear gratefully replies as he ruffles the panther’s fur.

“No worries.” Percy replies as he gives him a sandwich with chocolate spread and some chocolate pretzels.

The three cubs continue to chat while they eat. Percy squirms even more than before, but then suddenly stops as he floods his pull-up, which most cubs fortunately don’t notice. Only Benjamin notices the ammonia smell, who fortunately doesn’t mention anything

“We’ve arrived at the aviation museum.” The teacher starts as she gets up. “You’ll get an hour of free time before we’ll have to see the exhibit.”

The students start cheering as they exit the bus and enter the museum, after Ms. Brown scans their tickets, they’re free to wander off. “We’ll meet here in an hour.” Ms Brown says, pointing towards a grey aircraft. “But stay in groups of at least three.”

“All right Ms.” The class responds.

“So should we go together?” Daniël asks.

“Yeah.” Benjamin nods.

“All right.” Percy says excitedly, glad that he has made some new friends. He then remembers that he needs to change his wet pull-up. “But is it okay if I go to the bathroom first?”

“Sure, do you want me to keep an eye on your bag?” Daniël offers.

“No it’s fine!” Percy says, a little harsher then he meant, and then rushes as he follows the signs
Towards the bathroom.

“What’s up with him?” Daniël Asks as he’s surprised by how the panther reacted.

“He did a full-on potty-dance during the bus ride. He looks so desperate that I’d be surprised if he made it completely dry.” Ben covers for his friend, responding with pity.

“A fifth grader that still wets himself, what a little baby.” Daniël teases.

“Hey!” Benjamin frowns as he looks at the diaper bulge, hoping that he’s still dry.

“Not you silly.” The bear chuckled.

“Ow okay.” The lynx sighs with relief.

“I already knew you were a little baby years ago.” Daniël smirks as he slightly pulls down the kitten’s sweatpants.

“H-hey!” Benjamin yells surprised as he looks around, some other cubs noticing.

“Still dry, I’ll check again later.” Daniël chuckles as he pulls his friend’s pants back up.

“That wasn’t funny!” Benjamin says annoyed.

“Just making sure you don’t have an accident.” Daniël chuckles as he licks his friend's face.

Just then, Percy arrives again, having changed and used the bathroom.

“You looked very desperate, did you make it?” Daniël asks.

“Yeah.” Percy lies as he clings onto his plush dragon. “I was lucky that they weren’t occupied.”

“All right then, do you guys want to check out the flight simulator?” Daniël asked, noticing that there wasn’t a line.

“Sure.” Percy and Benjamin agree as they follow the excited bear, who sat inside the cockpit. It was a rather easy simulator, you had to try and land a plane on a grass field.

“Yes.” Daniël says as manages to do it after a couple attempts.

“My turn!” Benjamin says hastily, as he enters the cockpit before giving Daniël a chance to escape.

“Calm down.” Percy chuckles at the excited cub.

“You’ve never seen him when his favourite comics are in the store.” Daniël chuckles as he stands next to the panther. “Look at how many planes are here.” He remarks as he looks around.

“Yeah, many of these were used in major wars.” Percy replies.

“Really?” Daniël asks curiously.

“Yeah, many of these planes were used to recapture occupied areas, or to help people escape from them.” Percy responds.

“So the same planes?” Daniël asks in disbelief as he looks around.

“Well most of them are replica’s, but some of them are the exact same.” Percy answers.

Suddenly Benjamin exits the simulator. “Stupid game.” He mutters.

“Still a sore loser?” Daniël asks. “Some things just never change.”

Percy giggles. “How long do you guys know each other?” He asks.

“Since we were babies.” Daniël replies. “Although Ben still is one.”

“Not funny.” Ben rolls his eyes as he had heard it multiple times.

They continue to look around for some time, before they head back to the rest of the group. After Ms. Brown checks to see if everyone was present, they meet up with a guide, a bat that’s a veteran. He introduces himself and starts explaining about all the planes, and about stories from battles he fought in. Some cubs think the exhibit is boring, but many, especially Percy, find it interesting. After an hour, the tour is done. The veteran gladly answers all the questions from the group, most of them coming from Percy. After that, the group thank him for everything. The cubs get some more free time, and then they leave the museum.

“I’m proud of the way you guys behaved.” Ms. Brown says, not expecting them to behave as well as they did. “Keep it up in the coming days.”

The group then enters the bus and greets the bus driver. The next step was to have lunch, and then visit a theatre to see macbeth. After some time, they arrive at a diner and enter.

“All right kids, you can choose between a hamburger, chicken or veggie nuggets, A slice of pizza or nachos. All but the latter have fries. You will also get something to drink.” The teacher says as the students sit down at tables.

Benjamin, Daniël and percy sit together. “So what are you guys choosing?” Daniël asks.

“I’m going for the pizza I think.” Benjamin replies.

“I dunno, maybe the nachos.”  Percy says. “But I’m more interested in the cold lemonade.”

“Yeah, I don’t think you haven’t drank anything today. Daniël remarks.

Percy nods. “How about you, what are you ordering?”

“I’m going for the hamburger.” Daniël replies.

Not long after the bear cub says that, the waiter comes to ask the students which options they will have, and then goes back. After some time, the students get the meal that they choose and dig in.

The teacher walks up to Percy and whispers to him. “You should take your medicine now.”

“All right Ms.” Percy obeyed as he got the pill bottle and took a diuretic.

“For what do you need them?” Ben asks curiously.

“For high blood pressure.” Percy explains. He then got his glass of lemonade, and chugged it down in seconds.

“Wow! You must’ve been really thirsty.” Daniël says, shocked.

“So am I.” Benjamin interrupts as he  starts drinking his cola, though not nearly as fast as percy.

“Yeah, the medication I have to take always makes me feel thirsty,” the panther replies.

Daniël feels bad for the cub, and looks at his full glass of root beer. “You can have my drink if you want to.” He offers

“I, I can’t, It’s yours.” Percy refused.

“I insist.” THe bear says as he pushes the untouched glass towards his new friend.

Percy refuses a couple times more, but eventually accepts the offer as he takes a sip. “Thank you so much.” He gratefully says.

“No worries.” Daniël replies as he starts eating his hamburger. “I owe you this since you shared your lunch.” He says with his mouth full.

“That was nothing.” Percy says, before drinking the root beer as fast as he drank his lemonade.

While they continue eating, Daniël tries to get to know Percy better, and asks him some questions. “So Percy, do you have a favourite book?”

“Yeah, I really like Ranger’s apprentice, it’s my favourite book series.” Percy replied, way less nervous than earlier.

“Never read that one.” Daniël says. “What is it about?” He curiously asks.

“It’s about an orphan, Will, who is chosen as an apprentice Ranger, the elite Special Force corps in the kingdom.” The panther explains. “Which books do you like?” He asks.

“Well I don’t read a lot, but I like Diary of a Wimpy kid.” Daniël replies.

“That’s a great book.” Percy agrees.

“Yeah, but like I said, I don’t read a lot. But at least I sometimes pick up a book.” The bear says as he glares at Benjamin.

“What, I read.” Benjamin defends himself.

“Apart from comics, what do you read then?” Daniël asks.

“Comics count.” The lynx replies.

“Oh really, how much did you get for your book report?” Daniël asks, trying to  stifle a chuckle.

“Doesn’t matter.” Ben brushes them off. “Anyway, Do you play any video games, Percy?” He then asks to change the subject.

“Well I play minecraft on my dad’s laptop sometimes, but that’s it.” Percy responded. “How about y-” He asks, before being cut off by daniël.

“Do not ask him that unless you want to be stuck here for hours.” The bear frantically warns.

“Oh come on, I won’t bore him with all the details.” Benjamin chuckles. “I often play…..”

Benjamin talks for a while, before Daniël rudely interrupts him. They continue to chat as they finish their food. Daniël finds out that Percy plays saxophone, and tells him that he should join the high school band, and to his delight, the panther thinks about it. As they continue, Benjamin finishes drinking his soda, which quickly passes through his body. And as his urge increases, his patience decreases.

“I wonder what we’re going to do at the musical?” Percy asks.

“The teacher already said it earlier, far before we knew it would become an overnight trip!” Ben says in an annoyed tone. “we’re going to watch Macbeth for the stupid Shakespeare assignment!”

“Ow okay.” Percy softly replied softly, not wanting to piss off the lynx further.

Daniël gives his friend an earful “Dude calm down! He wasn’t in our class yet when we got that assignment.”

Benjamin, crossing his legs, looks at the panther, who isn’t smiling anymore, and just pokes through his remaining food. “I’m sorry Percy, I shouldn’t have yelled at you.” He apologised, feeling bad. He then suddenly starts peeing, and struggles to stop.

“It, it is okay.” Percy responds, before hearing a hissing picking up on the smell of feline urine. “Are you okay?” He asks the kitten.

“Yeah I’m fine.” Benjamin says as he gets up. “But I’ll be right back.” he adds as he sees a bathroom sign at the other side of the restaurant, and walks to it, not going too fast so we won’t put too much pressure on his bladder.

He is just in front of the Men’s bathroom when…

“Hssssssssssss.” The sound is audible even for cubs nearby, who fortunately aren’t from the same school as him. The lynx manages to turn the stream into a dribble, and then quickly enters the restroom. Inside he notices that three out of the four stalls are out of order, and the fourth one is occupied.

The lynx gets his final warning, a sharp pain from his bladder, threatening to empty itself. “Oh what’s the point.” He thinks, already having leaked substantially. He starts flooding his pull-up, which surprisingly doesn’t leak. “Aaaah…” He is glad that his parents aren’t there, he didn’t want them to tease or yell at him.

As he finishes peeing, the door to the bathroom stall opens, and a lion exits. “All yours kiddo.” He says, before noticing the smell of urine and hearing the cub’s whimpers.

“T-thanks.” Benjamin says as he quickly enters the stall. Inside he pulls down his pants and underwear, which fortunately didn’t leak. He then takes a look at his pull-ups, which was completely soaked. He tears off the wet pull-up, but just before looking for a spare one, he remembers something.

“My pull-ups are in my bag, which is in the bus.” He thought to himself panically. He thought about asking Percy if he could lend him one, but doesn’t want to embarrass himself like that. Nor does he want the cub to know that he knows his secret, Percy is already nervous enough as it is. So he does the only thing imaginable; He decides to just continue the day without wearing pull-ups. He pulls his underwear and pants back up, and then exits the stall, returning to the table.

“There you are, I almost ate your food.” Daniël jokes as he sees his friend returning.

“Almost?” Benjamin asks as he notices some of his fries missing.

“Well you took too long.” Daniël defends himself.

Benjamin just rolls his eyes as he sits down, eating what little of his food is left.

“H-hey, are you okay?” Percy Whispers to the lynx.

“Yeah I’m fine.” Benjamin replies. “How about you?”

“Y-yeah.” Percy says as he crosses his legs, not wanting his friends to know about his bursting bladder.

“All right then.” Ben says as he continues eating.

However, Daniël notices the panther’s squirming, and doesn’t want his friend to have an accident. “Hey Percy, We have to leave soon, and then we won’t be able to go to a restroom for a long while. And since you drank two large glasses of soda, you should probably go to the bathroom.” The bear tells him.

“All right, I’lll be right back.” Percy stammers as he gets up  and sprints towards the bathroom.

Once Percy is far enough, Daniël turns to Ben. “Do you think that Percy has trouble holding his pee?

“Are you asking me because you think I would know just because I have that problem?” The lynx frowns.

“N-no.” Daniël says, not wanting to upset his friend. “I just mean, haven’t you noticed him?” He asks.

“I mean, he did gulp down two large drinks in the span of minutes, so it’s understandable.” Benjamin replied.

“But it’s not just that.” Daniël says. “Also earlier in the bus, and many times during lessons.” He said. “He even wet his pants during his presentation.”

Benjamin didn’t want to tell Daniël about Percy wearing pull-ups, and just agreed with him. “I guess so.”

“I’m not trying to make fun of him, I’m just worried for him.” Daniël says. “He’s only been in our class for a couple weeks, and he’s still extremely nervous.”

“Don’t be, he’s doing well, and no one makes fun of his… issues.” Benjamin starts. “And as for his nervousness, I think it’s getting better.

“I guess you’re right.” Daniël says.

The two of them finish their food. After a while, Percy returns to the table. After some time, they leave again as the teacher counts all the students, and then they walk towards the bus again.

“All right kids, next stop is the theatre.” Ms. Brown explains as her students sit down.

“What is Macbeth about?” Percy asks.

“It is about a Scottish general that kills the king, becomes paranoid and kills even more people.” Daniël explains. “It’s pretty boring actually.”

“Eh, still beats Math.” Percy says.

“That’s true.” Daniël nods.

They are driving towards the theatre. Once they arrive, the teacher counts all the students, and they go to the wardrobe room.

“All right kids, you guys can hang your coats and store your bags here.” Ms.” Brown says. “Does anyone remember how to behave in a theatre?” She asks.

A calico cat raises his hand.

“Yes Cooper?” The teacher says.

“Don’t talk, get up unless during a break, or do anything that can disturb the audience.” He replies.

“Exactly.” Ms. Brown nods. “I’m sure you guys will all be on your best behaviour, especially considering how well you behaved up until now.” She adds, before pointing towards the restrooms. ‘Now if anyone has to go to the bathroom, now is your chance.”

Before she can even finish, Percy runs into the men’s bathroom. The students, and especially Ben and Daniël, are confused why he has to go twice in such a short time. The teacher quickly goes towards the counter, leaving the cubs alone

“Is he okay?” Cooper asks.

“He’s still a little baby, remember when he had an accident during presentations.” A hyena named Elioth says.

“Be nice.” Daniël warns.

“But he’s right, he should be in diapers, like your little friend.’ A raccoon named Samuel chuckles as he points at Benjamin, who is unmoved, his classmates already knowing about his pull-ups for years.

“I wouldn’t say things like that.” The bear threatens.

“Oh yeah, what would you do?” the Raccoon asks.

Before Daniël can respond, the teacher enters the wardrobe room again. “Is everything all right?” She asks.

“Yes Ms. Brown.” Daniël and Samuel say in unison, not wanting to get in trouble.

“Good, once everyone is done, we can enter the theatre hall.” Ms. Brown says.

Then Percy exits the bathroom, looking relieved.

“So that’s everyone right?” The teacher says as she counts all the students. “All right, let’s go!”

The class enters the theatre hall and sit in their seats. Daniël sitting next to Benjamin and percy. Unfortunately, Elioth and the raccoon Samuel are sitting behind them, with the unlucky kitten Cooper between them. Soon the play starts. As time passes, both Benjamim and Percy start getting more desperate again, and while Percy has his pull-ups as back-up, Ben has no choice but to try and hold it.

Daniël notices his friend squirming, and whispers to him, “If you need to go badly, just go in your pull-up.

“Yeah, about that…” Ben whispers back.

“Don’t tell me you aren’t wearing them.” The bear frowns.

“I’m sorry, I put my bag in the luggage compartment, so I can't reach it.” the lynx says, before starting to leak.

Daniël notices the smell, and sighs. “Just try to hold it.”

Benjamin doesn’t reply as he notices a spurt escaping, wetting his underwear. Fortunately his shorts are still dry, but the lynx knows that it’s only the start.

Most cubs don’t pay attention, and really the only one that’s actually interested in the play is Percy, who watches excitedly as he crosses his legs, something that Daniël notices but doesn't mention. As time passes by, both cubs become increasingly desperate.

“Do we get a break?” Percy softly asks, a distinct whimper that Daniël recognised from the panther being desperate multiple times.

“No, we don’t get a break.” Daniel says, surprised that the cub has to go to the bathroom for the third time in a short span of time. “But fortunately Macbeth isn’t that long, only two hours.” while daniël says this, he notices Percy suddenly looking flustered, and picks up on the smell of feline urine as he hears a soft hissing sound. “Percy?”

The panther starts to sob as his pull-up starts leaking, wetting his shorts and the chair underneath him. “I couldn’t hold it anymore, I’m sorry.” He tells the bear softly.

Daniël isn’t sure what to do, feeling bad for the cub. He eventually decides to pet him in order to comfort him, something the panther enjoys. “It’s okay, at least you tried.”

Suddenly the teacher walks up to them. “No talking remember.” The teacher reminds them, before noticing Percy’s condition. “Did your diaper leak already?” She says in a disappointed voice. Unfortunately, other kids overhear what she says, and are looking at the panther and start to chuckle.

“Wait, you wear diapers?” Daniël asks, being surprised.

Percy, fearing that the bear and lynx no longer want to be friends with him and will make fun of him, turns bright red as tears run down his face. “I-I’m sorry Ms.” he nervously says. “I didn’t mean to.”

“It’s okay.” The teacher replies, already knowing about his predicament. “Follow me.”

Percy obeys as he gets up, his wet pull-up causing him to waddle.

“Uhm Ms, may I please use the restroom?” Benjamin pleads, a large wet spot is visible as he is seconds away from exploding.

“All right.” The teacher says as they quietly exit the hall, Benjamin starts to pee again and wonders if it is even worth it.

The teacher, noticing this and knowing about the lynx’s medical issue, realises that Ben probably won’t make it to the bathroom they were previously at, and quickly takes him to a closer one before helping Percy. “Wait here once you’re finished.” She tells the desperate cub, who nods as he runs into the men’s bathroom. She then turns to Percy. “You really have to go a lot today huh?”

“Yeah, I hoped it would have gone better today.” The panther replies.

“It’s okay, you know you can’t help it. Plus I’m sure the other cubs will understand.” She comforts him.

As they walk towards the wardrobe room, a three-year-old rabbit notices them. “Look mommy, that Panter had an accident!” He loudly tells his mother, causing Percy to blush.

“Oh Noah, hush.” The mother scolds her son, feeling bad for the panther.

The words went in one ear and out the other. “And look, he wears pull-ups just like me!” The cub says even louder as he points at the pull-up peeking out of Percy’s pants.

The toddler’s mom quickly cover’s the cub’s mouth with her paw, and turns to Percy. “I’m so sorry for my son.” She apologises, though she’s rather surprised by the fact that a kid his age would still wear diapers.
“It, it’s okay ma’am.” Percy says embarrassedly, which the teacher notices, who quickly takes. him to the wardrobe

Inside, the Panther quickly gets his bag, and enters the restroom. After quickly changing himself and putting on a new pair of pants, he exits the bathroom again.

“If you want to, you can keep your plushie during the play.” Ms. Brown says as he notices the panther’s nervousness.

“Thank you Ms.” Percy perks up as he gets his plushie and clings onto it.

“All right then, let’s go.” She says.

They meet up with the lynx, who,  despite having made a mediocre attempt to use the restroom, still wet himself enough in order for a large wet patch to be visible.

“Why aren’t you wearing your pull-ups?” Ms. Brown asks disappointedly.

“Wait, you also wear pull-ups? Percy asks confusedly.

“I’m sorry Ms, I left my bag in the luggage compartment but forgot my changing supplies, so when I had an accident earlier, I didn’t have a spare one.” Benjamin explains.

“You can borrow one of mine, and I also have spare pants.” Percy offers.

“Really?” Benjamin’s ears perked up.

“Of course.” Percy nods.

“Well that’s nice of you Percy.” The teacher says. “While you guys do that, I’ll alert a staff member about your accident.” She adds.

“Ow yeah.” Percy softly says.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll understand.” The teacher says, before pointing to the wardrobe room. “I’ll meet you guys there.”

“All right Ms.” The cubs reply as they enter the room. “Thank you.” Benjamin says gratefully as percy hands him a pull-up and a pair of khaki pants.

“No worries.” Percy replies as he looks flustered.

Benjamin guesses what the reason was, and assures him. “It is okay, I’m sure no one will make fun of you.”

“Really?” Percy asks, doubting if the lynx is right.

“Yeah, our classmates have known for years that I wear pull-ups, and they, with the exception of a couple, don’t make fun of me.” Ben explains.

Percy is relieved, but is also curious about Benjamin's condition. “If you don’t mind me asking, why do you have to wear pull-ups?” He asks.

“Well I have a neurogenic bladder, which means that the nerves between my bladder and brain don’t work properly, so ” He starts explaining. “So I’ve been wearing diapers and pull-ups all my life.” He adds. “What about you?”

“Well remember the pills I have to take for high blood pressure, they work by making me pee more.” The panther explains.

“How does your father react when you have an accident?” The lynx asks.

“Well sometimes he gets disappointed or teases me about it, but most of the time he’s nice about it.”

“Really?” Benjamin says surprised.

“Yeah.” Percy says, noticing his surprise. “How about you, how do your parents react?”

Now it’s Ben’s turn to look flustered. “Well if they are in a particularly good mood, they’ll tease me, but usually they yell at me, or pull my ear.” Benjamin softly admits.

Percy is dumbfounded by the strictness of Ben’s parents. “They get mad about something you can’t control, that’s messed up.”

“It, it is okay.” Benjamin softly says.

Percy doesn’t buy it, and gives the kitten a hug in order to comfort him.

“Careful, I still need to get changed.” Ben says as he walks into the bathroom.

“All right.” Percy replies as he waits. After some time, Benjamin exits the bathroom. Due to Percy being two years younger, and him being small for his age, his pants don’t quite fit the lynx, and the older cub also wonders if the smaller pull-up would contain one of his accidents. Still, he was grateful. “Thank you once again.”

“No problem.” Percy smiles, though he wonders if he has enough pull-ups for the rest of his trip.
While they wait for the teacher, Percy gets his water bottle from his bag and quickly drinks some of it.

After some time, the teacher comes back. “All right, we should probably go back now, we don’t want to miss too much of the play.” She tells them.

“All right Ms.” Percy nods as he puts his water bottle back, while Benjamin reluctantly obeys. They go back into the hall. Percy, who obviously can’t sit in his seat due to his accident, has to sit next to Samuel, who starts poking fun at him.

“I guess the little baby is back again.” The raccoon chuckles.

The panther doesn’t respond as he anxiously clings onto his plushie.

“You really are a little baby, still needing a stuffie.” Samuel teases, before getting the brilliant idea of taking away the cub’s plushie.

“Hey! Give it back!” Percy whined.

“Aww, are you going to cry?” The raccoon continues

“Hey, leave him alone, he’s two years younger than you!” Cooper defends the panther.

“Shut up, you can’t talk since you’re still a bedwetter.” Samuel blurts out, which causes his hyena friend to chuckle.

“That’s rich coming from you.” The now blushing kitten responds.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” The hyena asks.

“N-nothing.” The raccoon stammers.

The cat sighs. “Just give him the dragon plushie.”

“Fine.” Samuel reluctantly obeys.

“Thank you.” The panther softly says.

“Yeah yeah whatever.” Samuel replies, annoyed. “Just don’t piddle your diaper again little baby.”

Percy is a little hurt by the comment, but doesn’t mention anything, being frightened by the older cub. He focuses his attention on the play again.

After a while, the play is over, and the audience applauds the actors. The cubs then exit the hall. Percy notices Benjamin and Daniël chatting with each other, and nervously walks towards them without saying anything.

Daniël sees him and gives him a hug. “It’s okay.”

Percy is confused. “So… you won’t make fun of me?” He nervously asks.

“Are you kidding me? You’re my friend, of course not.” Daniël replies as he playfully licks the panther’s face.

Percy smiles as he hears what the bear said, and hugs him back.

“Plus, you aren’t the only one. I also wear pull-ups, and Cooper also has accidents.” Benjamin adds.

“Cooper?” Percy softly asks.

“Yeah, he was in a house fire when he was eight, in which he unfortunately lost his parents.” Ben starts. “He got burned, which made him incontinent. he doesn't need to wear pull-ups like us, but still has frequent accidents and wets the bed.”

“Benjamin! Cooper told you not to tell anyone.” Daniël scolds his friend. “Great way to keep a secret!”

“Ow yeah.” Benjamin softly says.

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.” Percy promises.

“All right then.” Benjamin says relieved. All the students get their coats and bags, and then walk towards the bus. They quickly enter the bus and greet the bus driver, before sitting down. Soon they arrive at the youth hostel. Ms. Brown first goes inside to check them in while cubs get their bags from the luggage compartment, and then gets the students. There are four rooms, two for the boys and two for the girls. The teacher hands out the keys to one of the students for each, intelligently deciding to give the keys to Daniël rather than Benjamin.

“Now kids, settle in your rooms, and we’ll meet at the dining hall in two hours.” Ms. Brown says.

The cubs go to their rooms. Percy, Daniël and Benjamin look at the room. It has two bunk beds, two nightstands and a closet.

“I choose the top bunk, any objections?” Daniël asks the others.

“Nope.” Percy replies. “I wouldn’t even dare to sleep on the top bunk with my pull-ups.” He adds.

“Worried you might leak at night?” Ben asks the cub as he chooses the bunk below Daniël’s

“Yeah.” The panther softly says as he places his bag on the other bottom bunk.

“Don’t worry, the mattresses are protected, so you won’t get in trouble if you do.” Daniël tells him.

“That’ll help.” Percy says relieved.

“And if you want to, you can have one of my nighttime diapers.” Benjamin offers the cub. “I do owe you after you let me have a pair of your pull-ups and lent me your pants.”

“I don’t think that will help him.” Daniël tells the lynx. “They would probably be too big for him, which would make them leak quicker.” He explains. “Plus they aren’t that absorbent to begin with.”

“Ow ok then.” Benjamin says as he listens to his friend’s explanation.

“Thanks anyway.” Percy says.

“No problem.” He tells the cub, before asking: “So, what do you guys want to do? There is a playground outside, or we can play some games in our room.”

Daniël looks outside of the window. “It looks like it’s going to rain soon.” The bear said

“So what? You aren’t made out of sugar right?” Benjamin chuckles.

“No, but the rain might soak your pull-ups, something you clearly don’t need help with.” Daniël teases.

Benjamin quickly defends himself. “Ow come on, I only had one accident today.”

“Two.” Daniël replies, reminding his friend of what happened at the theatre.

“Fine, two.” Ben sighs defeatedly, before turning towards Percy. “What would you want to do?”

“Which games do you have?” Percy asks.

“Well I have a deck of cards, UNO and dominoes.” Benjamin replies as he gets the games.

“Is UNO okay?” Percy asks politely.

“Sure.” Both the bear and the lynx nod. Benjamin quickly shuffles the cards, gives each player seven cards and places a card in the middle; a green four. “You can start Percy.”

“All right.” Percy says as he places a red four on top. “Your turn Daniël.”

Daniël places a red nine, before noticing a trickling sound, and the panther’s ears
drooping. “Percy, are you having an accident?”

“I’m sorry.” Percy stammers as he continues flooding his pull-up, the smell becoming more noticeable.

Daniël gives Percy a little hug. “It’s okay, you don’t have to say sorry.”

“Ow, sorry.” Percy responds, before covering his mouth.

The bear chuckles a little and ruffles the panther’s fur, before they hear a knock on the door.

“Who could that be?” Benjamin asks as he walks towards the door. It was a sobbing Cooper. The kitten rarely shows emotion, and never cried, so it was surprising to say the least. “Is everything okay?” Benjamin asks.

“They keep making fun of me.” Cooper sobs, specifically referring to Elioth and Samuel, although a couple others also bullied him. The cat had been ill on the day they chose the groups, so he was assigned to the larger room, which includes many of the mean cubs.

“What did they do this time?” Daniël asks as he gets up. He then notices that the calico cat is wearing different pants than earlier.

“Well Elioth and Samuel noticed earlier in the bus that I had had to pee. so the hyena decided to purposefully lock himself in the bathroom until I had an accident.” Cooper started. “After that they joked about my accident, bedwetting, and… and about my parents.”

“They did what!” Daniël asks, shocked by the bullies, and decided to give them a piece of their mind. “I’ll be right back.”  He says, before being stopped by Percy

“It’s okay, don’t do anything to them.” Percy says. “I was wondering, would I be allowed to stay in your room?” He softly asks.

Benjamin and Percy are okay with it, while Daniël wonders whether or not it is a good idea to give the top bunk to a bedwetter. Eventually they all agree. “Sure.”

“Thank you guys.” Cooper says gratefully. He quickly gets his bag, and then returns.

“We were just playing UNO, but we just started.” Benjamin says. “Do you want to join?”

“Sure.” Cooper nods.

“I’ll be right back.” Percy says as he gets a pull-up from his bag, and goes inside the bathroom.

Benjamin shuffles his cards once again, deals them, and waits for Percy, who quickly comes back after changing himself.

“All right, Cooper, you can start.” Ben says as he places a card from the deck, a red five.

“All right.” Cooper nods as he places a yellow five, passing the turn to Percy.

“Aw c’mon.” Percy sighs as Cooper changed the colour to the only one he didn’t have. He takes a card, and passes the turn to Daniël.

Daniël places a yellow seven, and afterwards Ben plays a change colour card, and changes it to green. The four of them continue to play for some time. Eventually, Cooper won twice, daniël and Benjamin once, and Percy didn’t win at all.

“All right, we still have well over an hour left, do you guys want to go to the playground?” Percy asks. “It stopped raining.”

“Sure.” Benjamin responds.

“It would be nice to finally be able to release our energy after the entire day.” Cooper says.

“Yeah, between the museum and the theatre, we didn’t have time to play.” Daniël agrees.

Ben tries to use the bathroom before going outside, without success. The cubs go outside. There is a football field, a pingpong table and a playground. Percy quickly sits on the swing while the others climb towards the castle.

“This place is kind of neat.” Ben says as he climbs the rope tower.

“Yeah.” Cooper agrees. “I wonder what we’re going to do after dinner.” He then says from the highest tower.

“We would play a game, and afterwards we get free time.” Daniël replies.

“Between dinner and the quiz, we will be done at around half past seven.” Benjamin says. “We have to be silent in our rooms at ten, so what should we do up until then?” He asks.

“We could play outside, might even play hide and seek in the dark.” Percy says.

“Or we could do something inside, play some games in our room or in the bistro.” Cooper adds. “They even sell slush puppies.”

“Really?” Benjamin asks.

“Yeah, they sell lots of stuff. Ice cream, drinks, sandwiches…” the kitten listed. “We could even pull our money together to order something like a pizza.”

“Right after we have dinner?” Daniël asks with a smile.

“We could still be hungry afterwards.” Cooper responds.

“We’ll see.” Benjamin chuckles.

They continue playing for a while, until it’s time for dinner. They go inside and enter the dining hall, where they meet the rest. The teacher checks if all the students are present, and then leads them inside. Inside is a buffet serving spaghetti and meatballs, lentil soup, with a salad bar.

“Shall we sit together?” Daniël asks as he sits down at a table for four.

“Sure.” the others nod as they sit down as well.

“All right cubs, remember not to get too much food the first time.” Ms Brown tells her class. “It is better to get food multiple times than to waste food because you got too much.”

“All right Ms.” The cubs reply, before going to get their food. Percy and Daniël try the soup, while their friends skip that and go straight for the spaghetti. Eventually they sit down and start eating.

“What do you guys think of the food?” Percy asks.

“It’s alright.” Daniël says as he tries to hide his disappointment.

“That’s debatable.” Benjamin replies as he just pokes through his food.

“Pizza afterwards?” Cooper asks as he forces himself to eat the food.

“Depends, how much money did you guys bring?” Ben asks.

“Five euros.” The panther says.

“Same here.” The lynx says.

“I have around seven bucks.” The cat said “How about you Daniël?” He asks

“I, uhh…” The bear stammers. The truth is that he didn’t bring any money despite it clearly being on the packing list. He and his mother are living paycheck to paycheck, with her needing to work two jobs to keep Daniël fed. “I don’t know, I’ll check in a moment.”

“All right then.” Cooper responded. “But don’t worry, I’m sure we have enough already.” The kitten adds.

“All- alright.” Daniël says softly.

The cubs continue eating, Percy being the only one that enjoys the food. Eventually they get dessert; chocolate and vanilla pudding. Afterwards the teacher has an announcement.

“Students, we had a quiz planned for tonight in one of the halls, but unfortunately the beamer malfunctioned.” She says. “So we’ll do that first thing in the morning. For now, enjoy your free time, and I’ll check to see if you are in your rooms at ten.”

“All right Ms.” The class excitedly says.

“Soo, Bistro?” Cooper asks.

Percy looks at the time, it is currently half past six. “If we order it now, we, or more accurately you, will get hungry later again.” He chuckles.

“Fine then.” The cat agrees. “What do you guys want to do next?” He asks.

“Maybe play another game?” Benjamin suggests.

“Sounds fun.” Cooper says. “I brought a game you guys will definitely like.”

“Really?” Daniël asks. “Which one?

“UNO no mercy.” Cooper replies. “It has harsher punishments than the regular version.”

“How harsh exactly?” Benjamin asks curiously.

“Take ten, take four  and turn the game around, keep taking until you get a specific colour…” He lists. “O yeah, if you have more than twenty-five cards then you’re out.”

“That’s really harsh.” Daniël says.

“And to think you guys playing regular UNO nearly caused you guys to stop being friends multiple times.” Cooper laughs.

“That was years ago.” Daniël blushed as he remembered those times.

“Last time was when you guys were Percy’s age.” Cooper continues, getting a soft chuckle out of the panther.

“And we’ve become much more mature after that.” Benjamin replies firmly.

“You’re kidding right.” Cooper starts to laugh so hard that he starts wheezing.

“Oh come on.” Daniël sighs.

“I’ll have to see it for myself.” Cooper says.

“Fine then.” Ben replies.

They go back into the room. They first make their beds ready, before starting the game, Cooper quickly explaining the rules. “Youngest starts.” He smiles at percy. “Ow and you are allowed to stack plus cards.”

“Weren’t you already allowed to do that?” The Panther asks confused, cuddling his plushie as his dry pull-up made a soft crinkling sound. He places a red five on top. “Your turn Ben.”

Benjamin smirks as he places a “take four and turn the game around” Card, passing the turn back to Percy.

“Starting off strong I see.” Percy replies as he places a plus six card. “You’re turn daniël.”

Plus ten Cooper.” Daniël chuckled as he placed said card on the deck. “Now you have to take twenty cards.

“No I don’t think so” Cooper replies as he places a plus four card. “Your turn Ben.”

Benjamin places a red plus two card, increasing the total to twenty-six cards.

“Well that was a fun game.” Percy sighs as he places his cards down.

“Lost already?” Benjamin chuckles.

“Yeah.” Percy nods. “I’ll watch you guys.” He says as he gets his water bottle and starts drinking it.

Daniël notices this, and wonders how long it would take before the panther makes a run towards the bathroom and/or has an accident. For now he decides to keep an eye on the cub.

“Hey Daniël, you there?” Benjamin impatiently asks the bear.

“Yeah yeah be patient.” Daniël sighs as he places a red four card.

The three of them continue playing for a while, until Cooper is the winner. They then play a couple rounds again until they finally get enough.

“I’m surprised you guys haven’t fought yet.” Cooper chuckles.

“We aren’t five.” Benjamin replies.

“Sometimes you act like you are.” Cooper continues. “Especially you Ben.”

“He’s right though.” Daniël laughs as he ruffles his friend’s fur.

“Anyway, want to go to the bistro?” Cooper asks. “I can even teach you how to play ‘pesten’.”

“What kind of game is that?” Percy asks.

“It’s like UNO, but with regular cards, I’ll show you.” Cooper replies.

The four of them go towards the small bistro. It has a small bar and a couple tables. They sit down and look at the menu. “A pepperoni pizza is only six bucks.” The cat says.

“Do you want to order it?” Benjamin asks.

“Yeah I think so, I barely ate dinner.” Cooper replies.

“Why not?” Percy asks.

“Well I didn’t really like it.” Cooper says.

“So?” Percy asks.

“Well I prefer ordering a pizza.” The cat replies.

“Fair enough.” Benjamin chuckles. “Are you guys ordering anything?”

“No, I don't think so.” Daniël says softly.

“Maybe later.” Percy replies

“All right then.” The cat and lynx reply as they go to the bar to order

Percy then turns towards Daniël. “You barely drank anything today, aren’t you thirsty?” He asks him.

“Nope.” Daniël says firmly as he stares at the slushie machine.

Percy notices this. “I’ll be right back.” He said as he walked towards the bar. A couple moments later, he came back with two cola-flavoured slush puppies. “Here you go.”

“Th-thank you.” Daniël says dumbfoundedly.

“No worries.” Percy says. He then whispers towards Daniël. “Did you bring any money?”

Daniël shook his head. “N-no.” He said embarrassed.

“Why didn’t you say so?” Percy asks as he takes a sip of his slushie.

“Because it’s embarrassing and I don’t want others to know.” Daniël says softly. “I… I don’t want them to make fun of

Percy gives him a hug. “You don’t have to worry about that with me, I won’t make fun of you for that, or anything else really.”

“And neither will we.” Daniël looks behind him. It is Ben and Cooper, who overheard them, and they both ruffle his fur.

“Really?” Daniël asks, surprised.

“Of course.” They reply as they showered him with affection

“Be honest.” Ben starts. “Did you forget your lunch, or didn’t you get it?” He asks.

“I did get it, but I gave it to my little brother since I knew his lunch wasn’t enough for him.” Daniël explains.

“That’s nice of you, but you shouldn’t be responsible for your brother.” Cooper says, before offering the bear a slice of pizza. “Here, eat.”

Daniël refuses. “It’s yours, plus you said that you were hungry.”

“So are you right?” Cooper suspects.

“N-no.” Daniël says softly, before his stomach rumbles loudly.

“I take that as a yes.” Cooper chuckles. He took a slice of pizza, before shoving the plate towards Daniël.

The bear skittishly took a slice and hungrily ate it. “Thank you.”

“No worries.” Cooper says as he gets his deck of cards. “You guys want to learn the new card game I was talking about.” He says as he drank his soda.

“Sure.” The others nod.

“Allright.” Cooper smiles. “Just like uno, you can only place the same suit or number on each other. The ace, two, five, seven, eigh, ten, jack, king and the Joker are action cards.”

He then looks at the others, who simply nod.

“If you place a jack or two, then the person next to you has to take cards, five and two respectively.” He further explains.

“That’s better than UNO.” Percy says.

“Not so fast, because if you place a five, the person next to you has to keep taking until he gets a queen.” Cooper chuckles.

“That’s harsh.” The panther says shocked.

“Hypothetically, if all the queens are in the opponent's hands?” Daniël starts.

“Then you have to take the entire deck.” the kitten replies.

“Okay.” the bear says, confused how the game will continue without the deck.

“Let’s see, the seven and king allow you to play again, the eight skip the next person’s turn, with the ten everyone has to give their cards to the player next to them,  the jack changes the suit and the ace changes the direction.” Cooper continues. “And if you have only one card, then you have to say ‘last card’ or  knock on the table, otherwise you have to take five cards.” He finishes.

“Sounds fun.” Percy says as he finishes his slushie.

“Alright then.” Cooper says as he shuffles the cards and deals them as he finishes his drink. “The youngest starts.” He says as he places a three of hearts.

“All right.” Percy happily replies as he plays a seven of hearts, followed by a king of spades and a nine of spades. “Your turn Daniël.”

“All right.” He says as he places a six of spades, before noticing the calico crossing his legs together. “Are you okay Cooper? If you aren’t feeling good then we can stop.”

“No, I'm fine.” Cooper assures him. He then plays a six of diamonds.

Benjamin then plays an eight of diamonds.

“Thanks a  lot.” Percy groans, before noticing a sharp pain from his bladder.

“You’re very welcome.” Ben grins

They continue playing for a while, with Percy and Cooper being neck to neck with just three cards, while Ben has half of the deck in his hand. Daniël plays an eighmisert.

“Really?” Cooper sighs.

“Yes!” Ben yells as he places a ten.

“C’mon!” Percy groans both with annoyance and desperation as he takes Benjamin's cards. Right now Ben and Daniël are the ones with three cards, Cooper with five and Percy with twenty cards. The panther then places a joker.

“Why are you punishing me for Ben’s card?” Daniël asks.

“Sorry, I just need to get rid of the cards,” Percy replies.

“Don’t worry.” Daniël chuckles as he places a two of clubs, increasing the amount to seven.

Cooper grins as he places a two of spades, increasing the amount to nine.

“Great.” Ben sighs as he starts taking the cards. He then plays an eight of clubs.

“Really?” Percy sighs as he starts flooding his pull-up, this time being relieved rather than being miserable.

The others notice this, but don’t say anything except for Daniël giving him a playful lick in order to comfort him. The bear then plays a king of clubs, followed by a three of clubs.

Cooper then plays a seven of clubs, followed by a seven of diamonds and a three of diamonds. “Last Card!” He yells, before quickly stopping as he starts leaking and quickly presses a paw between his legs, which stops the leaking for some time. “By the way, Daniël, you forgot to say last card.”

“Ow yeah.” Daniël sighs as he takes five cards.

Benjamin can’t play a card, so he must take and pass the turn to Percy. “Good luck, you need it.” He chuckles.

“I definitely need it.” Perc chuckles along as he plays an ace of diamonds.

“Ow C’mon.” Ben jokingly whines as he takes another cards.

“Yes I win!” Cooper cheers as he puts an ace of spades. But the excitement doesn’t last long as his bladder gives up as he starts peeing, turning his navy jeans dark, staining his cartoon briefs yellow and creating a puddle underneath his chair. His ears droop as he starts blushing.

“Something wrong Cooper?” Percy asks, before noticing the puddle spreading towards him. “Ow it’s okay.” He says as he comforts him.

“But this is the second time.” Cooper says softly.

Suddenly the bartender, a tiger, notices what happens, and she walks towards the cubs.

“I, I’m sorry Ms.” The feline says.

“It’s okay.” She lets out a sigh as she tries to hide her disappointment. She asks the cat to stand up, who obeys as he manages to stop the stream, only having emptied his bladder halfway as he still is desperate. The tiger then gets a mop and starts cleaning. “Bladder issues?” She asks Cooper, wondering if there’s a reason for his accident.

“Y-yeah.” the feline softly says. He lifts part of his shirt, exposing scar tissue on his stomach.

“Ow you poor dear.” The tiger says with pity, quickly understanding. “Wait here.” She tells him as she finishes cleaning and quickly goes to get something. She then comes back with a bag of gummy bears. “For you and your friends.” She says as she comforts him.

“Well thank you Ms.” Cooper says blushingly. “And sorry again for the accident.”

“No worries, this is far from the worst thing a person did here.” She replies as she goes back to the bar.

“She’s nice.” Percy says.

“Y-yeah.” Cooper says, still softly crying.

“It’s okay Cooper.” Daniël says as he gives the kitten a hug. “Now let’s go to our room before you’ll get noticed by…”

“Did the little kitten have another accident?” A snow leopard named Sebastian chuckles once he notices that Cooper wet himself once again.

“...Bullies.” Daniël sighs as he finishes his sentence. He then turns towards the snow leopard. “You better leave my friends alone.”

Samuel responds by laughing in the Bear’s face. “Come on Daniël, you’re really choosing to be friends with them?” He says as he points at Cooper, who tries to hide his face.

“You really don’t think Cooper has been through enough?” Daniël asks the bully.

“Been through what?” Sebastian asks.

Daniël looks at Cooper. “Do you want to tell him?”

Cooper nods. “I, I got into a fire when I was eight.” the kitten says. “My parents died, and it scarred my bladder.” He adds as Percy comforts him.

“Ow, I’m sorry.” The snow leopard says softly, being embarrassed and feeling bad for the cat.

“You should be.” Daniël scolds him.

“Hey Sebastian, are you joining us or not?!’ Elioth asked from outside,

The snow leopard apologised once more, before going outside.

The four of them go back to their room, Daniël looking for his keys.

“Hurry.” Cooper whines as he crosses his legs, crying from the pain.

“Still need to go badly.” the bear asks.

“Yeah!” Cooper says.

Daniël finally finds the keys and opens the door. Cooper quickly runs inside, but suddenly stops in the middle of the room and he can no longer stop the stream. He starts peeing again, creating a puddle underneath him and getting his shirt wet.

“At least this time it was in the privacy of our room.” Percy tells him.

“N-not helpful.” Cooper continues to sob as he notices the puddle underneath him.

“Don’t worry.” Benjamin says as he ruffles the cat’s head. “You definitely don’t have to be embarrassed around us, especially since Percy and I wear pull-ups.”

Cooper calms down a little after what the others hear, and tries to smile a little.

“It’s okay.” Daniël reassures him. “Plus you’re doing really well compared to just last year.”

“Thanks.” Cooper says. He takes his shirt off, exposing scar tissue around his chest and back, and then takes off his pants. His underwear, which had an aeroplane pattern, was completely stained yellow. “M-my foster parents are going to put me in diapers again.” He worries.

“Would that be such a bad thing?” Benjamin asks the cub. “You wouldn’t have to worry about making it in time as often.”

“I guess you’re right.” Cooper says. He quickly changes himself into long-sleeved pyjamas, while Benjamin uses the bathroom.

“So, what should we do now?” Daniël asks.

“All right, don’t tell anyone.” Cooper starts, now being more cheerful. “But I brought my Nintendo 2ds.” He says. “We can take turns playing, but we just have to be careful that the teacher doesn’t find out.”

“Sounds fun, which games do you have?” Daniël asks.

“Well I have mario kart, mario bros and mario party.” the kitten replies.

Then Ben exits the bathroom also having changed into PJs. “No way!.” He says as he sees that Cooper brought his game console.

“Yes way.” Cooper says. “What do you guys think about playing mario party?”

“Sounds fun.” Daniël says.

“The minigames or the board games?” Percy asks.

“The minigames.” Cooper replies.  “We can’t play at the same time, and playing after each other will take too long.”

“All right then.” Percy replies. “I’ll first quickly change.”

“Sure.” Cooper replies as he starts the game.

They continue playing for an hour and a half, before hearing a knock on the door. “Cubs, you in there?” The teacher asks.

“Quick, hide the DS.” Ben whispers.

Cooper quickly turns it off, before opening the door.

“Ah, good evening boys, I see you guys are ready for bed already.” She notes.

The cubs nod.

“Did you guys have a nice day?” She asks.

“Yes Ms. Brown.” The boys smile.

“Good to hear. Breakfast is at half past six tomorrow, so be there on time.” She tells them.

“We will Ms.” Cooper replies.

“I think that’s all.” The teacher says, before addressing the cat specifically. “Cooper?”

“Yes Ms”

“If you wet the bed, tell me in the morning so I can ask the staff for new sheets.” She tells him.

“All right Ms.” Cooper blushes.

“Now that’s all, good night cubs.” She says

“Good night Ms.” The boys reply.

After the teacher is gone, they continue gaming for a while before getting ready for bed. They brush their teeth, and Daniël puts on his pyjamas. They then get in bed.

“Today was a fun day.” Daniël says.

“Yeah, thank you for letting me hang with you.” Percy replies.

“How many times do we have to tell you, you are our friend.” Ben tells him.

“Thank you.” Percy smiles.

“I wonder what we’re going to do tomorrow?” Cooper says.

“We are probably going to explore the ancient city centre.” Percy replies.

“Sounds fun.” Ben says. “Good night.

“Good night.”

“Good night.”

“Good night.”

They quickly fall into a deep sleep. Cooper sleeps especially well. But he then suddenly wakes up due to an uncomfortable feeling. “Not again.” He sighs as he notices the wet patch on the blanket.

Percy stirs awake. “Is everything all right?” He asks, clinging onto his plushie.

“N-no.” Cooper sobs. “I, I wet the bed.”

Percy gets up. “It’s okay.” He comforts him. “Did you bring extra pyjamas?”

“Yeah.” Cooper says. He quickly changed into new clothes, Percy looking the other way.

“You can sleep next to me If you want.” The panther offers.

“Really?” Cooper asks.

“You don’t really have many options.” Percy replies.

“Thank you Percy.” The kitten says.

“No problem. Percy says as he lies down, closer to the wall.
