The big day was finally here, as the Prowers officially moved into their new home in Green Hill. With the wide open spaces in seemingly every direction, there was no doubt that Mocha's soon-to-hatch pet chao, affectionately dubbed Orange, would have plenty of space to just...exist. After all, with an egg that was bigger than their entire house, this new addition to the Prower family was sure to be more than just a handful.
But that wasn't the focus of the day, as the Prowers had surprised their precious "little" girl with a pool party to commemorate their first day living in their new home. They invited all their friends and family, even Mocha's friends from school, the duck twins Monty and Molly. The two meant well but they essentially shared a brain cell between them. But, Mocha loved them dearly, they always had her back at school in spite of their mischievous natures.
Even some folks that rarely ever had the time to make an appearance, Princess Sally and her AI companion Nicole, had managed to come for a visit and celebrate with the rest of the families, taking it upon themselves to make sure Mol was watched over while Tikal and the rest of the echidnas could enjoy the party. Plus, it did give an opportunity take some idle readings of the chaos-infused child.
And in-between all that, a potentially new romance was blossoming, completely unnoticed by those in attendance.
These time of peace were certainly more frequent these days, but they were no less appreciated by the heroes and their growing families. If anything, it proved to them all that the simple pleasure of just getting together and having a nice time could be just as exciting as death-defying adventures.
And in the particular case of the Prowers, their family adventures were only going to keep getting bigger.
