New Life, New Friends
Cloud Gazing
Torsten moved into a new apartment building in the city to experience city life from his old small town home. The landlord was an old bear named Borus Steelfist, a retired World Champion who ran a diner on the first floor called "Food for Champions." Torsten also met Borus's adopted daughter, Sarana Steelfist, a short cat girl a few years younger than him and his new neighbor. After he finished moving in, with a little help from Borus with some of the bigger furniture, the bear offered to cook him a meal, and Sarana joined him to chat with him as he waited. And though Torsten's shyness made the start of the talks about one-sided, eventually, he and Sarana found a few stories to share as they burned the wait and dinner away with plenty of conversation. Torsten went to bed, happy to make a quick new friend, and hoped his future in the city was as bright as Sarana's personality.

So this is the first official commission that Sarana and Torsten have together. Some might remember some fun and adorable doodles made by

years ago, but those didn't have as much direction from me as this. This commission was a long time in the making, though, as I worried about how Torsten and Sarana should meet and if I should go straight for an NSFW theme or take it slow. But here we are, and with all the weight removed for this "first" commission, expect to see them together a few more times in the future!

When worlds collide!

This is adorable, and I like that you decided to go for something sweet and innocent for their first picture. Whether or not things ever go in a more adult direction, it's a nice way to start their friendship off on a firm footing and make it feel more like they care about each other as people. Besides, they look so darn cute together, and I love the little story you wrote to go with it. The idea of Borus helping Torsten move in, and cooking a meal for him and Sarana, is very sweet, and the idea of the two of them chatting the evening away is just great. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of these two in the future, whatever they might get up to together!

I kinda thinking of two more pictures of them trying each other's hobbies. Working out for Sarana and reading for Torsten. Now I need to think of the perfect pose for their first time should ever comes

Help moving in, dinner and a new friend? Best move ever! Lucky Torsten, and lucky Sarana, too! And I agree with Megan that this is a great way have them meet. Naughty art is always fun, but I really enjoy the slice-of-life commissions you get, and this way it feels like a solid foundation for a genuine friendship.

It's really fun to see the size difference between them, too, and to be reminded of just how short Sarana is. Having her sitting on a cushion to reach the table is just sweet.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like getting commissions of just my characters is over indulgent, less interactive with others, so it has to build on something or be super wanted by others. Something I should think about.

And I also love the pillow, full credit to Sukiya for that addition!
