The Twins
May and Lily are fraternal twin Pomeranian girls. They are very close and that bond has had a significant impact on their personalities.
Lily
Lily is, technically, the younger sister since she was born about 14 minutes before her sister. Lily’s fur is similar to her mother’s, though much darker. This led people to assume that she takes after her mother who runs a small ‘witchy’ store. When Lily was very young, she was often given gifts like plush spiders or bats. People did not realize is that she loved these because of their cuteness, such as big eyes. That they were ‘dark’ or ‘creepy’ was not what she appreciated. In fact, she was a little envious that people saw her sister May as the cute one. However, she also did not want to disappoint people by complaining about their gifts. This created a lot of internal turmoil for Lily.
All that changed the day Lily discovered the Goth Lolita fashion. Lily could now be cute and dark at the same time. Lily fully embraced this fashion, and she truly started to blossom. Friends and family all noted that she became more outgoing, adventurous and spontaneous. It’s not unusual for Lily to decide to try out something she only just learned about. A perfect example is when she first saw people skateboarding and asked one of the skaters if she could try. A goat girl, Gloria, lent Lily her board and the two very quickly became good friends. Lily usually tries to drag her sister, May, along on ‘adventures’.
May
May has light, pastel colored fur and is often called ‘a cute ball of fluff’. She is very sensitive to the emotions of others and so appreciates the feelings behind the description. Being so sensitive to emotions of those around her can leave her feeling overwhelmed. As a result of this, she is often shy and withdrawn. However, she does love meeting and getting to know people.
May understood that Lily was envious of way people treated her as cute and her sister as ‘dark’. She helped her sister to find the Goth Lolita fashion. Lily becoming more outgoing and adventurous also provided a benefit to May. May is happy to follow Lily on her ‘adventures’ as it provides a way for May to meet new people.
May has developed a fairly extensive online presence, having accounts on several social media sites. Many of her posts are about the ‘adventures’ that she and Lily go on. In real life, Lily tends to take the lead, but online May is the star. Both sisters are very happy with this arrangement. Lily has little interest in maintaining the kind of social media presence that May has. May, for her part, would have little to post about if not for Lily’s spontaneous nature.
