...And there we have it! The first comic in the "Cynosure City Tails" saga has finished! I know i've read and replied to your thoughts the whole way, but what does everyone think? Did you enjoy it? Are you interested to read more? Did it help you start to see (at least a little) these characters' personalities, and you'd like to see more of them?

As for the future of this series, I definitely plan to do more comics. Some may be 3-page short comics, some may be this length or close to it, some may be colored, and there may be some just one-page comics that, while short, build on the overall story and themes. The comics won't always follow or feature the same group of characters, but there may be some crossover here and there.

Without spoiling anything, I will say that after writing this story in March of last year, I immediately wrote a 'part 2' of sorts like the next day, so... be ready for that. ;3
Part 2 will be a little bit different, probably a bit more dialogue-heavy and world-building, while hopefully still being entertaining.

I'll leave it there, and I hope everyone had a good time reading this comic, and are looking forward to more~

*lets out a relieved sigh* "This story ended on a happy note. However I can't let a major detail slide. The threat is still there. (Former soldier, who's dealt with *ssholes like him) Those don't stop till they're either put into a coma or killed. I worry he might find other victims"

yeah, it won’t be depicted, but after this Lena offers to drive Stephanie home, but Steph, being the good girl she is, sees Valerie and knows her friend needs a distraction right now, and chooses to continue their sleepover plan. Rin and Lena smile, and Rin offers to go get the girls some pizza and ice cream. Lena suggests they have it delivered instead, and Rin can tell Lena’s still shaken. She agrees, and also offers to stay the night as well. “We’ll make it a SUPER sleepover!” She says, which elicits cheers from the girls~

Yeah, I wanted a reminder to the readers that while Rin stole the show, this was always Lena’s story about her overcoming her past. That despite being pretty wealthy, Lena’s favorite mug is the one her daughter made for her in while Tail Scouts: The one that proves that, at least in her daughter’s eyes, she’s still the best mom there is~ :3

A rough story to tell, but a powerful one. I'm glad Rin showed up at the right time. Beautiful, yet bittersweet. ;.;

I know I'm not the only one hoping for a nicer future for Valerie and Lena, though. Can only imagine how mentally jarring that was for them both.

Yeah! There are other parts of Lena’s past I wanna tell too, but they may be like…. A few drawings accompanying walls of text lol. Like stories that need to be told, but perhaps wouldn’t make good comics? Written stories are a harder sell though, not everyone’s here to read lol, that’s why I want to at least have a decent anount of art telling the story visually, if possible, just not as many as a comic.

Certainly a powerful story told...one that had a lot of darkness, but also of overcoming it—alone, and with loved ones. Foolishly, I thought Tobias was fighting for Lena at the beginning, only to find out that he only considered them his property.

Despite the dark subject matter, the comic was very well done, and I wouldn't mind seeing more! Even if it does go down rougher roads. It may not be what people want, but a good story is what people need. 👍

Interesting and unusual dark, but good storytelling, yeah.
And I am happy that it had a good ending...

But isn't that Guy anyway going to Prison for what he did in that Pub?

If they catch him. He’s already left the country where that happened, so it may be hard tracking him down atm. Not impossible, just might take a bit.
