Man these Tome challenges keep getting weirder and weirder...

Two days early for the 8th Anniversary but just in time for Mother's Day, I come bearing some pregnant anthro Huntress content! ...or at least I hope you can tell she's pregnant, the pose and angle kinda make it hard to tell. ( =w=)''

I'm a massive fan of horror, and while I'm mainly planning on doing pregfur art, I do want to eventually dabble in general horror art too! And I'm talkin' ALL in on it: body horror, excessive amounts of blood and guts, unsettling monsters, dark slapstick comedy, the works! I wanna makes some stuff that's gonna require a goddamn content warning!

...buuuuuut that said there's absolutely no way I'm about to veer into that without warning! Cheap jumpscares are no fun, and I'm not gonna subject people just looking for some cute pregfur art to my horror shenanigans without a heads up!
And don't worry, my pregfur and horror stuff are for the most part going to be mutually exclusive in most cases. The most you're gonna see is scary monster moms, and that'll usually tow the line of creepy and cute! We're not watching Alien vs Predator around here, no one is gonna explode ( ; A ;)

So that brings us to this! I wanted to make something that would help introduce the horror angle without straying TOO far from my current pattern. I play a lot probably an unhealthy amount of Dead by Daylight, and while it may be a horror game "scary" isn't the first word I'd use to describe it. And while I'm no good at playing as her, with her heavy themes of motherhood Huntress was a prime candidate! (I'm a Dredge main by trade, aiming isn't really required XD)

I considered a few things to turn her into: a wolf, a fox, an elk (especially considering the Were-Ek skin she got recently), but hare made the most sense considering the hare mask is her default in game. Plus, I liked the irony of a prey animal being the hunter instead!

This is probably the fastest I've ever completed a drawing, taking me only a day as opposed to my other works that took at minimum 5. (if we're not counting the Primarina doodle) And that's all thanks to all the references I used! For the pose, I just took a picture of myself holding a broom and dustpan, and for her clothes all I had to do was fire up DBD! Thank you BHVR for allowing us to rotate killer models in the pregame lobby! Speaking of clothes, for the flower pattern on her skirt I used a custom brush to save time!
And the background was a piece of cake! Just draw some vague tree shapes and crank the fog machine to 11! Which was achieved by setting the spray tool to 1% opacity and going ham on three different layers (I'm glad the foreground fog came out as good as it did!)

So hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did making it! And Happy Mother's Day folks!
