Cirrus should NOT have been underwater this long. 45 minutes, he'd been diving around, and his body was now giving him an ultimatum: Go to the surface NOW, or you're going to breathe anyway. Even as he was rebreathing in his elastic cheeks, puffing them as big as his head before sucking the air back in, he refused to go up for whatever reason. Constant whining and whimpering could be heard from the dragon as he intensely shivered and bubbles dribbled from his lips... Before he accidentally sucked in through his nose. He swallowed that water, but the damage was done, and the dragon had reached his limit.
With his cheeks puffing up to their maximum size again, Cirrus arched his back before his maw finally opened to force out all the beyond stale air in one go. A single enormous bubble inflated from within him, even bigger than himself - nearly 50 feet wide! There was a loud bloop as it entirely left his mouth to begin floating away, and an almost as loud slurping sound and muffled gasp as Cirrus' exhausted lungs drew in water to replace all the air.... Will he go up now? His body CAN handle this for a long time...
He likes the feelings of holding his breath an extremely long time, and he sort of likes what comes after as well. Don't worry, he'll surface eventually and fully recover.
