Since the war, Marle and Max moved north to Venuzuark and settled there in the colder, mountainous region. It reminded her of a home that she only seemed to remember in dreams. Sometimes in the early morning, she would slip out of bed, leaving Max to peacefully slumber, and venture out into that snowy wonderland. The crisp crunch of the snow beneath her hooves combined with the singsong of those few daring birds braving the cold to herald the coming of the spring gave her a sense of tranquility. She would sit outside for hours just enjoying the peace nature brought her. There was no expectations placed upon her out here. There was no drama with others she had to endure. There was no persecution or abuse imposed. There was nothing but freedom and she reveled in it.
