May is here, and so is the final OWOP reminder!
* By the end of February, have your idea for this year solidified. * By the end of April, make sure you have an artist on board (if you are a commissioner) and any permissions you might need from others. * By June 19th, I recommend having your artwork complete by this date (let the artist know way ahead of time) so that it can be ready to post during the event; otherwise, it should be well underway! * Before the end of June, make sure you've got your post ready to go up between June 30th and July 6th!
Unfortunately for me and due to circumstances beyond my control, I know I am going to have fewer works to showcase this year myself, so don't worry if things don't work out this year for you to participate; there is alway snext year and there are plenty of "Found" submissions I've already got stored away.
But, if you are indeed able to, then I look forward to your participating submission in just a couple short months! Do remember it starts on June 30th this year, which might catch some off-guard (it does me every time I look at that suggested progress blurb).
Also do remember that AI Art is not applicable for the event. If you attempt to use AI Generated or Assisted art for the event, I will have to decline featuring that particular submission.
Yup! Drawing (or writing!) in the theme, adding the tag (or you can PM me to be sure I see it). Also, the idea is to post it during the event week, so between June 30th and July 6th. I do recommend reading the main post linked by this one if you want more details, and you are welcome to reply here with additional questions or PM me if you'd prefer to ask privately.

If you want to participate but for one reason or another you can't post during the week itself, and are posting earlier, that is possible. I will include you in an "After-Party" showcase, which I post at the end of the month of July. These showcases are for those that posted earlier, or that missed the event.

It might be confusingly written, but the event is from June 30th to July 6th. If you have it ready by June 19th, that's just a "target" to be happily ready by so you aren't stressing. So if you are finished before then, and you want to specifically participate during the event, you would want to wait until at least June 30th to post.
I had thought to start making a calendar post with the dates on it, I've just been busy xD But maybe that will help.
