The life of an engineer was never a boring one, and Miles "Tails" Prower knew that better than anyone. And now he was tasked with a brand new responsibility: building a new home for him and his family in the wide open spaces of Green Hill. "Phew, what a day."
With all the work Tails was pouring into this project, he briefly wondered if maybe he had taken things too far. Did he really need to find the BIGGEST chao egg in recorded history to make his daughter's wish for a pet chao come true? He knew Mocha well, she would've been absolutely ecstatic with literally any chao, even the most basic, generic one ever.
But no...nothing was too good for his precious sweetpea.
So he got to work, building a brand new home for them to start fresh in Green Hill. They were now much closer to Cream's mother, Vanilla, so that would be advantageous for nights when he and Cream wanted to spend an evening together without Mocha. More importantly than that, they had ample amounts of space, which meant that Tails could build an enormous home that his wife and daughter would have room to grow...and grow...and grow.
"They just keep getting bigger...I love them so much."
"I love you too Daddy!"
Tails yelped as he saw Mocha grinning at him from inside the foundations of the house. "You scared me, sweetpea!"
"Sorry. What are you working on Daddy? I don't think that door is big enough for me and Mommy!"
"Well it isn't, but that's why this is only one part of the door, it's going to be two doors. That way you and Mommy will have enough room to get through."
"Oh, okay!"
"How is Orange doing?"
"He's doing good I think! Dr. Hatcher said that his egg will probably start shaking more when he gets ready to hatch, and he's shaking a little more!"
"Well good! So if you're here, where's your mother?"
"Right here!" Cream walked up to the two, a tray of drinks and food in her hands and her giant tits bouncing in her massively stretched t-shirt. "Have you been working here by yourself all day?"
"Not all day. Sonic and Knuckles came to help a little earlier, but they had to get going to take care of their own stuff."
"Do you need help Daddy? You know I will if you need me!"
Tails just smiled and reached up to pat Mocha's head. "I know Mocha, thank you. But I need you to focus on making sure Orange is taken care of! Don't worry, this new home of ours will be done in no time!"
Um... please don't do the colored text thing for speech, OK? It's almost impossible to read that light yellow against a white background. The "quote marks" are more than enough to indicate speech, and if you need to indicate who's saying what, add a dialogue tag:
