Since the present day, Knuckle Joe's widowed mother Marian wears a hood for traveling.

She first came to Pop Star to see her son again while already having done good deeds to individuals in need. Marian already faced her long time rival Waiu in battle in the forest, later she encountered Efreeti, whom Water Kirby and Knuckle Joe took down together, before revealing herself to her own son while also meeting Kirby and his friends for the first time.
