Right, so. I asked

Cervelet for a "dressage" picture with Tory and Bertha. But through nobody's fault... well, he speaks English, but he's a German who took (or is taking) French class. So I did worry he wouldn't know the obscure English word "dressage," but I only asked if he knew the word.

And it turns out "dressage" started as a French word, but drifted in meaning when English took it in. French dressage is animal taming; English dressage is a sport also known as "horse ballet." And when a word appears to be in two languages with different meanings, it's called a "false friend." Fortunately, Tory and Bertha are on better terms than that would suggest.
