This submission was edited on Jan 19 2023.

Around this date, I hid all my stuff and then unhid it later, at which time I was notified there weren't enough keywords on this submission. Since it was by then grossly outdated, I've gone through and amended it. Old data is retained for posterity but struck out; amendments are in bold immediately following.

. . . . . . .

The original submission makes heavy use of Lin di Thaer but never cared to explained it, so the relevant details are:
• If it ends in -el it means a sapient creature that does something. Compare to teacher, fighter, driver, etc.
• At the time of the original submission -iel was a suffix denoting adjectives. It now denotes present participles (e.g. miriel "shining"), which in Lin di Thaer can be used as adjectives.
• If it has -in -on or -an added on it's a lax plural that includes some, e.g. Pirelrin means "some Pirel individuals but not necessarily all of them".
• -i is gender-neutral, -o is male, and -a is female, e.g. Pirelran means "some female Pirelrin but not necessarily all of them".
• If it ends in -ila it means a greedy plural that explicitly includes all, e.g. Pirelranila means "any and all female Pirel individuals".

. . . . . . .

Revisions to the lore after this submission introduced Shirin, a country which resembles bits and bobs of transformed Japanese mythology. Shirin has its own variations of some of the races listed here.
• "Shirinese" is a Playerese English word referring to anything from Shirin.
• Shirinese words are not Japanese words but are vetted to avoid sounding like Japanese vulgarism.
• Shirinese words with -sa refer to a race considered endemic to Shirin.

Hopefully this helps all 2 people who ever see this submission.

Silly little icons to flavor up things related to terel Pirel races. I don't know where I'd use them but they're nice to have and they make me think of what symbolizes each species race in a single simple picture.

The terel is Pirelrin are why I posted a journal asking what animals people liked, so that I could make terel species Pirel races based loosely on them.

The terel encompasses most of the "furry" species Pirelrin are the "most anthro furries", but I've recently taken to mixing many animals together or inventing new appearances entirely to reduce the chances of any given person interpreting them as "talking animals" and thus undermining their status as people-ish characters.

In addition to this, terelrila Pirelic faces are designed to look very human, with the main difference being their snouts and ears. And also because crappy anime faces are easy to draw.

Terelrila have Most Pirelrin have three toes similar to bunny feet.

Terel alacriel "the agile ones"
Amblian /æm.bəlˈaɪən/
Boot w/ angel wing

The alacriel Amblians are slender, fast, and well-toned, and historically have served well in hard labor and as messengers. Not wanted to be known as great slaves, their icon is basically a Hermes boot. Or maybe a Kuribo's Shoe. Your mileage may vary.

The alacriel are based on all sorts of Amblians resemble certain equines: collectively horses, ponies, and zebras. Expect me to draw them similarly to how I draw My Little Pony anthropomorphs, especially because one of the males just so happens to look a bit like Applejack.

As stated above, alacriel do not have hooves. Not only are they hard to draw but they make them look too monstrous; they're best saved for monsters. Amblians absolutely have hooves, it's just Past FibS sucked at drawing even more than Future FibS.

Of course this means the males are... uh... well, you know. They have big genitals. Those are equine too. Say what you mean, Past FibS.

Terel articiel "the devious ones"
Tareni /tɑɹɛˈni/
Coins

You know the Selkies from Crystal Chronicles? Great merchants, but terrible thieving bastards? Imagine they were all squirrels and skunks and similar-looking stuff; cute round ears and fluffy tails. That's the terel articiel a Tareni.

The articiel Tareni are known for being extremely curvy, but not busty - the females are always booty girls. (Exceptions exceptions.) the girls usually have nice butts.

In the olden days, the articiel wandered the world like stereotypical gypsies, but they have toned down the thieving and wandering and integrated themselves better into society. More traditional Tareni travel the world in caravans, more integrated Tareni live indistinctly from anyone else in ther countries, but almost all share an ethnic Code detailing matters of honor and business which does not always agree with the laws of sovereign states.

The Hayasa of Shirin are descended from Tareni wanderers who started families with other Shirinsa.

Terel candariel "the sincere ones"
Tyrvari /tɪɚˈvɑːɹi/ "the many of the land"
Leaf

The candariel Tyrvari are cute, petite bottom-heavy deer-like creatures with relatively really big booties. They're kind, but generally shy, and originate from the forests. Their presence outside of the woods is still scarce. have many tribes adapted to various biomes ranging from tropical forests to the frozen north.

It is uncertain at this time if there is a Shirinsa form of Tyrvari (but there should be, because Japan definitely has deer.)

Terel edificiel "the building ones"
Luskie /ˈlʊskiː/
Bridge

So there's this really gross trading card game called [REDACTED FOR TARGETED DISPARAGEMENT], and it's got these flaming hot otter girls in it. So I figured I should add abruptly decided I wanted otters, beavers, and anything else that could possibly look like either of those and live in rivers as a single species race.

The edificiel Luskies build shit. Primitive Their more naturalistic civilizations make great use of overlaid sticks, mud, snow, or whatever natural material is handy. Many living in the cities are masterful architects.

Terel mediciel (I don't recall what this meant)
Minotar /ˈmɪ.nə.tɑɹ/
Hammer and anvil

Cows. They're cows. They resemble solid-colored cows as opposed to the complex patterns of Muses. The males are wide-shouldered and make for excellent smiths, while the girls have wide hips, huge breasts, and all grandmas will be so jealous of their baking, other than mediciel Minotar grandmas. ... That's a scary thought. hold strength and combat as a high value. Minotar grandmas are incredibly hot. It's the Muses who are known as the bakers.

All terelrila Pirelranila can lactate and stuff so that's allowed for the females, but not /required/. They have two breasts and each has one nipple, no more. Past FibS was trying to say they don't fucking have udders and they don't "need to be milked" any more than any other female Pirelrin do.

As stated above, mediciel do not have hooves. Not only are they hard to draw but they make them look too monstrous; they're best saved for monsters. Shut up Past FibS you little punk, they have cloven hooves.

Horns may, or may not, exist on either gender.

Terel plumiel "the plumed ones" yeah this one was lame
Freesian /ˈfɹiːsiːən/
Crappy feather I need to redraw

All birdies are haphazardly thrown into the terel plumiel species Resemble all manner of birds, with differences in color and such being largely superficial. As in male or female Freesians can have the colors of male or female birds; it is not a sexually dismorphic trait. The common factors are their beakish or bill-ish snouts and their feathery tails. Most species have a coloration on the legs resembling the yellow usually-yellow scutae on the legs of birds, but they do not actually have any such scutae.

The plumiel have subraces of course, and most of them are quite slender, although curviness around the hips is acceptable. There are always exceptions.

Plumiel do not lay eggs, and they do not have wings except for the Freesian royal family. The males have external testicles and the females have standard mammalian Pirelic (which in this case is usually human-like) female anatomy.

A plumiel's toes have talons, usually white, but the color depends on the race. There is also a fourth toe on the back.

NOT PICTURED:

Terel oraeliel "the listening ones"
Estherian /ɛsˈtɛɹiːən/

Bunnies Clearly resemble rabbits, hares, etc. Invariably have huge ears - whether they stand up, flop sideways, or flop backwards depends on the race and individual. The girls always usually have sweet asses.

Presumably related to the Hojisa of Shirin, who also resemble bunnies.

Terel capriciel "the impulsive ones"
Capricean /kəˈpɹiːsiːən/

This was the first species for whom I just started cramming multiple animals together - male capriciel resemble goats due to the horns and stuff, while females resemble sheep due to their fluffy curly hair Any individual male or female may resemble a goat, sheep, alpaca, a mix thereof, etc. They're always really cute and almost always slender with only minor curviness. Of course they're cute, they're goats. They tend to be small of bust, curvy of butt, and huge of nards.

NOT NAMED AND STUFF YET:
GOT NAMES LONG AFTER THIS WAS UPLOADED:

Dogs Lycian /laɪˈsiːən/ which also include wolves
Cats Galean /ˈɡæːliːən/ and... I thought I named a Shirinese version but it appears I have not
Foxes Joisseaux /ʒɔɪˈsoʊ/ and the Shirinese Warasa
