when i created the king & treasure characters, I was very quick to develop their story in lengthy word documents and dozens of small sketch pages I never got to post, mostly because I never knew how to open the gates of information about them and their world .

today for absolutely no reason i decided you know what?? this comic will see the light of day because i've been keeping it in a glass jar and catapulting it from pc to pc for the past 3 years and i just love !!! these damn characters so much !!! and i want to be able to post the more in depth content about them, but for it to happen i need to take the brick off the dam of king's story
so this comic will basically be a way to introduce some basic concepts of the society they live in, and show more of the royal family

parts 1 and 2 of this short comic where made 3 years ago, and part 3 will be made fresh so sorry if the art has some sort of uncanny valley jump in style

Although I do wonder, is this going to be a more lighthearted story? O r more darker like your usual ones?

oh i really love these <3 I love the king and treasure in general, but this was especially cute and sweet. i love sycamore taking a big brother role, since he wants more siblings anyways it suits him. i like him being intuitive to his emotions. i love the lore! the seasonal birthday thing is a very fun concept building off a common fantasy phrase in a way that makes sense and adds fun to the world. and of course i love all the expressions.
