Fwaaa... This is giving my anxiety... Sadly I don't think these two will ever be totally safe from him again unless he is behind bars or dead. The fact that he showed up out of the blue like this after so long means he still feels like he owns her and any offspring. So even if he backs down since he realizes there are multiple witnesses he could come back at a later date and kidnap or worse, kill them.
Honestly I'm not so sure he will care if there are witnesses, he may try to threaten or dispose of them as well. His MO seems to be to try to control his victims though mental attacks and if that fails he uses physical force. Given that the two witness are another female and a young cub he might just bully them or threaten them into silence. Or, MAKE them be quiet through other means...
All and all I'm not sure I want to finish reading this series @~@

Having someone clean your house, feed you, and clean your privates.. well everything, like you are a baby for many years can really humble an asshole. I'm pretty sure this will turn out better than most think. You can overcome your childhood and teenage years, many types of abuse, and beyond that. Be strong for you first! Do not let the past dictate the future you. Easy for me to say cause I'm 54 huh? Nope, everyday I refuse to let that shit get me cause DAMN at all these artists who share so much of THIER LIVES with us and most times just to see you smile. No effin way I'm staying in a funk!
