Different fonts to show inner turmoil, suggesting that she's not just saying "no" several times; she's saying no about several things. No, to having the discussion, to them knowing, to ending what she has, to everything she's done to get here being perhaps worthless. Lots of levels of denial.
And the vase. It's too detailed to be just a throwaway background detail. Could be about to smash, or could just represent something. Cut flowers die too soon? But also another sign of the things she's been doing to make his home fit the ideal-couple image.
