L: Charmy the charmander, Glacier the glaceon, Squirt the squirtle, Lucky the lucario, and Sni-tii the snake have all been invited to take part in a water-themed trivia show where losing means safely drowning. With the impressive prize on offer, all of them decided to go for it, hoping that they'll be the one to win.
S: Charmy - "Your telling me there's no lethal drowning in this game show? Impossible!"
Glacier - "I-i don't know about this... it looks fun...but at the same time it doesn't..."
Lucky - "I should be comfortable with this...hopefully"
Squirt - "Oh boy... this will be interesting..."
L: Sni-tii: "As much as the concept of drowning freaks me out... Kind of feel like I have to try."
Then, Cirrus enters the room, at his 10% size and wearing a bowtie. "Hey, glad you could all make it! I'd ask if you were sure about this, but you wouldn't be here if you weren't, right?"
S: *all 4 of them look at cirrus*
Glacier - "Cirrus? Nice bowtie...heh"
Squirt - "I mean yeah... it's kinda of a scary thought...but there are prizes so I gotta give this a shot"
Charmy - "I'm more confused on how drowning could not hurt you? But...I'm willing to try this"
Lucky - "I suppose"
L: Sni-tii: "Oh hey, I didn't expect you to be here!"
Cirrus: "Yep, I'm the host of the show for today. Now, the reason drowning here is safe is because of the enchanted water that's used; while it's not breathable, and inhaling it feels like normal drowning, once you pass out it'll keep you from losing any more oxygen. So, you're all perfectly safe!"
S: Charmy - "That's a thing? Huh..."
Squirt - "Wow...science these days..."
Lucky - "This should be interesting then since I'm pretty good at trivia questions..."
Glacier - "Well nice knowing im safe, but I'm still scared"
L: Sni-tii: "Enchanted water... I feel like I've heard of that."
Cirrus: "Before we get started, and even though this was included in your invitations, let's review the rules one more time: I'll be asking a question to all five of you, at which point you'll have 10 seconds to think of your answer. Then, I'll get that answer from each of you, and only after I've heard them all will I say what was correct. Anyone who was wrong will have their tank fill a fifth of the way. If you get two right answers in a row, your tank drains by a fifth, even if it's full. Further mistakes after having a full tank will mean more answers are needed to get air, and the game goes until all but one of you pass out."
"Er, not pass out, you're disqualified once you inhale water."
S: Charmy - "Sounds simple enough, I could stay quiet if there's a question I don't know..."
Glacier - "Oh boy... I don't know if I wanna do this now..."
Lucky - "Ok..."
Squirt - "Sure..."
L: Sni-tii: "Alright, that works..."
Cirrus: "One thing to mention: Making no attempt to answer a question is considered the same as getting it wrong, so you should always try. Now, because you all have such wildly different breath holding abilities..." He holds out a set of five collars. "We'll need you to put one of these on. They'll limit your breath hold to 4 minutes at most. Sni-tii, I'll help you with yours."
S: All 4 of my characters - "WHAT?!?! That's not fair!"
Glacier - "Yep, I'm not doing this...that is too scary!"
Charmy - "But Glacier! Think about the prize you could win!"
Squirt and Lucky - "Yeah!"
L: Sni-tii: "This is a once in a lifetime chance, Glacier! I'm sure you could still back out at this point, but I think you'd end up regretting it someday. Plus, you don't know, you might end up winning!"
Cirrus puts one of the collars on Sni-tii, and it softly glows as it activates.
S: Glacier - "But the fact we have to put those on is what's concerning me...my neck is sensitive, so that collar is gonna be very uncomfortable for me"
Charmy - "Sni-tii is right Glacier... you have to at least try this even tho some parts may be scary... you may be a winner! But yeah those collars are gonna suck..."
Squirt - "My neck is sensitive too..."
Lucky - "I'll be fine with a collar honestly..."
L: Sni-tii: "Oh, it's just because it's a collar? Hm..." She turns to Cirrus. "Cirrus, are there any alternatives?"
Cirrus: "There's plenty! Collars are what we usually use, but we've got all sorts of options. Just name it, and we probably have one!"
S: Squirt - "I'll be fine with anything that doesn't go around my neck..."
Glacier - "Me too..."
Lucky - "Again I'm fine with the collar"
Charmy - "I am too, but I would perfer something else, the thought of a collar on me sounds ridiculous..."
L: Sni-tii: "Perfectly fine with mine."
Cirrus thinks for a moment. "Alright, I'll see if I can find something the rest of you will like." He passes a collar to Lucky, then flies off, returning a couple minutes later. "Figured I'd go with a nice variety. I've got a bracelet, a belt, a glove, and a set of goggles. Take your pick! And if you don't like any of these, I can go get a few others."
S: *lucky puts on the collar*
Glacier - "Well the goggles are obviously mine, if I do end up submerged I wanna not have my eyes stinging"
Charmy - "I'll take the bracelet"
Squirt - "And I'll take the glove"
L: Cirrus: "I'll go put back the belt then, hang on." He flies off again, returning sooner and empty handed this time. "So, show's gonna be starting in a few minutes. I recommend taking some time to calm your nerves, you'll want a clear mind."
S: Lucky - "Thanks cirrus..."
*Glacier tries to calm himself down...but nothings working*
Charmy - "I'm pretty nervous, but I'm excited!"
Squirt - "Me too!"
L: Sni-tii goes to help calm Squirt, while Cirrus does the same with Glacier.
Sni-tii: "Hope you're more excited than nervous. I'm a little anxious too, I REALLY don't want to drown..."
Cirrus: "You okay, Glacier? You can still back out of this if you want, but like Sni-tii said, I don't think you should."
S: Glacier - "I-i can't back out, but at the same time I want too...I'm REALLY scared... I don't wanna drown... i just don't!"
Lucky - "Yeah I mean the thoughts of drowning are pretty scary..."
Charmy - "I'll get through this..."
L: Sni-tii hears Glacier saying he doesn't want to drown, and slithers over to him. "You okay? I sort of know how you feel."
S: Glacier - "i-i just, really don't wanna drown... it scares me too much... but I know it's part of the game...I just don't know what to do*
*the rest of my characters go over to him as well, hugging Glacier to try and comfort him*
L: Sni-tii coils herself around him in a hug of her own. "I'm scared of drowning, too... But, having so many friends around is helping me feel a bit better about it. Once this is over, I'm sure at least a few of us would be willing to stick around with you for a while."
Cirrus: "I definitely would. What's most important here, at least to me, is making sure you feel okay once this is over."
S: All my characters but Glacier - "We would stick around too!"
Glacier - "awww...thank you guys... I feel a little better now..."
*Glacier nuzzles everyone and smiles a bit*
L: Cirrus looks at a nearby clock. "It's about time for us to get started now. I'll need all of you to come to the stage with me."
Sni-tii unwraps from around Glacier to follow Cirrus. "Here we go..."
S: All 4 of my characters - "Oh boy...it's happening..."
Glacier - "I'm so scared!"
L: Sni-tii slows down a bit to stay closer to Glacier. "It's gonna be alright. It'll probably suck, but you'll be fine."
The group gets onto the stage, and there's a curtain blocking the view of the audience.
Cirrus: "Alright, everyone pick a tank."
S: Squirt - "I'll pick whichever tank sni-tii is next to...hehe"
Charmy - "I'll go for this one I guess"
Lucky - "Don't matter which I get"
Glacier - "Mama mia...."
*Glacier is shaking with fear*
L: Sni-tii: "Hang in there, Glacier, we all know you can do this!" Sni-tii heads into the middle one of the 5 tanks.
Cirrus: "You were brave enough to go into that trench with Lugia a while back, this is nothing compared to that!" He pets Glacier's head.
S: Glacier - "Ok that may be true, but I didn't drown...here, there's a good chance I will drown!"
*squirt meanwhile giggles and heads to the tank next to sni-tii... charmy heads to her tank and lucky does too, Glacier is still left behind*
L: Sni-tii looks concerned at Glacier. "Glacier... Even having experienced drowning before, I came here anyway, knowing it'll probably happen again, because I want to have fun with some of my friends. I hardly even care about the prize!"
Cirrus: "You know I've inhaled water before as well, but I always go on dives anyway, how fun it is to be underwater has always outweighed the fear that it'll happen again. Even if you end up losing this, you'll at least be able to decide for yourself whether it's actually that bad."
S: *Glacier sighs*
Glacier- "This is getting really hard for me now... I just don't know what to do anymore..."
L: Cirrus sighs. "...Hate to rush you, but you need to decide soon. We've got about a minute until we go live."
S: Glacier - "Ugh!! No I won't do it! Yes I will! No I won't! YES...I....WILL!!!!"
L: Sni-tii: "There you go! Quick, get into that tank!"
Cirrus: "Not a moment too soon..."
S: "Alright alright! I will!" *Glacier hesitated again, but eventually goes into the last tank that was free*
L: One of the show's crew starts counting down from 3 as Cirrus takes center stage. When they reach 0, the curtain rises to applause, Blubby being visible in the audience.
Cirrus: "Hello, and welcome to today's episode of Flood or Fact! I'm Cirrus, and I'll be the host for this match. Let's introduce our contestants and see how they're feeling." Cirrus flies to Charmy's tank first. "Firstly, Charmy! How are you doing today?"
S: Charmy - "Oh hi! I'm doing great! I'm a little nervous about this competition I won't lie, but I'm mostly excited!" *she says with her tail wagging happily*
L: Cirrus: "I'm a bit nervous myself, it's my first time being a host!" He goes to Lucky next. "Lucky, what do you think of your competition?"
S: Lucky - "Hmmph! These guys have nothing on me! I'm the queen of trivia questions! They don't stand a chance!" *lucky said as she smirked playfully*
L: "Ha, we'll be seeing about that, won't we?" Next, Sni-tii. "Sni-tii, this is your second time on the show, anything you think you've learned since last time?"
Sni-tii: "Well, I have, but I'm not about to say it and help everyone else, am I?"
Cirrus: "I've learned some things myself, but I agree, I won't be explaining them." He goes to Squirt next. "Squirt, how do you feel about everyone being able to hold their breath the same amount of time in this?"
S: Squirt - "Well first of all it's unfair! But I understand why you have to do it, I will admit I'm nervous myself, but I'm gonna try my best and maybe become victorious! Hehe!"
L: "Might feel unfair, but when we have someone that can hold their breath as long as Sni-tii, it's necessary." Finally, Glacier. "Glacier, you were pretty nervous about this, but we're all glad you decided to stay. How do you think you'll do in this?"
S: Glacier - "I-i-i um...oh goodness...I can't even form words because I'm so nervous! I really don't want to get submerged so I'm just gonna pray that there will be easy questions for me to quickly solve... just being in this tank alone is giving me anxiety!"
L: "I hope it'll work out for you, too." With everyone introduced, Cirrus returns to the middle of the stage, retrieving a sheet of paper from the podium. "Alright, let's get started!" He looks down the read off a question. "Firstly, what's 27 plus 38?"
S: Charmy - "Oh no math...I'm terrible at it... uhhh 56?"
Lucky - "Easy! 65!"
Glacier - "....."
Squirt - "65?"
L: Sni-tii: "That's, um... 65."
Cirrus: "It's 65! That's one miss for Charmy, and since Glacier didn't answer, I'm afraid he also gets one." Charmy and Glacier each have their tanks fill a fifth of the way up.
S: Glacier - "Ahhhh!!!" *he nearly jumps in panic as the tank fills up* "I-i-i was too scared to answer!"
Charmy - "Darn it! I hope there's no more math after this..."
L: Cirrus: "Remember to at least shout something out, it's better than nothing! Now, next up: How do you say the number one in German?"
S: Charmy - "What...kind of question is that? I don't speak German! Ugh...I've got nothing..."
Glacier - "...."
Lucky - "Wait I know this... isn't it "Eins"?
Squirt - "...."
L: Sni-tii: "Man, I've got nothing... It's not just "one", is it?"
Cirrus: "Lucky was the only one to get it, it's eins!" Everyone but Lucky has their tank fill by a fifth.
S: Everyone but lucky - "HOW?!?!"
Lucky - "Hahaha!!! Suckers!!!!!"
"They don't call me lucky for nothing!"
Glacier - "Whyyyy!!!!! I don't like it!!!"
L: Sni-tii: "Of course there's something about German, you're fluent in it..."
Cirrus: "I'll admit, that may have been a bit too hard, this next one should be easier. True or false: "Metal" is a type that a Pokemon can have."
S: Glacier - "Wait I know that one! That's false!"
Charmy - "come on now, it's false!"
Squirt - "False!"
Lucky - "It's false! Obviously!"
L: Sni-tii: "I'm not too familiar with Pokemon, but even I know that's false."
Cirrus: "Yep, all of you are right! Metal type isn't a thing!"
S: Glacier - "I got my first question right! That felt good..."
Charmy - "Yay!!"
L: Cirrus: "Next one: What was the first video game ever made?"
Charmy - "Oh shoot... ummm wait...wasn't it tennis for two?"
Glacier - "Oh no! I have no idea! Ahhhhh!!!"
Lucky - "Come on, it's tennis for two, these are too easy!"
Squirt - "No idea... I'm just gonna guess tennis for two, I know that's a pretty old game..."
L: Sni-tii: "...Well, everyone else is saying Tennis for Two, so, that."
Cirrus: "Tennis for Two is correct! With Charmy, Sni-tii and Squirt having gotten two in a row, they'll be having their tanks drained by one level! Lucky would too, but hers is already empty." Sni-tii and Squirt's tanks entirely empty, while Charmy's returns to 1/5 full and Glacier's goes to 3/5. Lucky's tank continues to have no water.
S: Charmy - "Yes! Let's go!!!"
Squirt - "Alright!!!"
Glacier - "Nooooo!!!! Whyyyyy!!!!!!" *he starts to whimper*
Lucky - "Ha! Give me some hard questions! These are way too easy!"
L: Sni-tii: "Huh, I thought it was Pong up until now..."
Cirrus: "It's incredible how far video games have come... Anyway, next question! Which channel on Youtube currently has the most subscribers?"
S: Glacier - "I don't watch youtube!!! Noooooo!!!!!!"
Charmy - "YouTube? Aw shoot... wait... I heard of this one YouTuber named PewDePie, is that it?"
Lucky - "I think it's either Mr Beast or PewDePie..."
Squirt - "Only YouTuber I know is Mr Beast..."
L: Sni-tii: "Mr Beast, right? People are always making jokes about him."
Cirrus: "Unfortunately, none of you are right. It's T-Series! Mr Beast is in second."

S: Lucky - "WHAT?! Darn it I got one wrong!"
Charmy - "Shoot..."
Squirt - "Dang it..."
Glacier - "Ahhhhh!!! My tank is almost full!!!! I don't wanna submerge!!!!!"
L: Sni-tii sighs. "I don't really watch Youtube that much..."
Cirrus: "Remember, even when your tank's full, you can still recover if you're willing to talk underwater and you get enough right answers. Now, next question: True or false, there exist games in the Zelda franchise where Zelda herself is a playable character."
S: Charmy - "Who the heck is Zelda...well I got a 50/50 chance so imma say it's true"
Squirt - "I'm gonna say false"
Lucky - "True?"
Glacier - "U-uhhh true??"
L: Sni-tii: "False, a lot of people call Link Zelda for some reason."
Cirrus: "It's true, actually! There's two games like that: Zelda's Adventure, and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. Neither did well, for unrelated reasons." Squirt and Sni-tii both have their tanks fill to 2/5.
S: Charmy - "Wow lucky me!"
Squirt - "Drat!"

L: Sni-tii: "Oh, really? I thought it was just that joke people make..."

S: Glacier - "I'm still very stressed! Like super stressed!"
Squirt - "Feeling good still...I haven't submerged yet thankfully..."
Lucky - "I'm pretty confident that I've got this in the bag!"
Charmy - "I'm having a lot of fun!!"
L: Sni-tii: "Glad I'm at least doing decently well."
Cirrus: "Hope you're all ready, the questions are gonna get a bit tougher from here on."
S: Lucky - "Finally some challenge!"
Glacier - "Oh no..."
Charmy - "Oh great..."
Squirt - "Yikes!"
L: Sni-tii: "Hoo boy, this probably isn't good..."

S: Lucky - "Doesn't the GameCube have a C button?"

L: Sni-tii: "Um... Yeah, GameCube's got one."
Cirrus: "The Wii's nunchuk has a C button, and so do the Genesis and N64. The GameCube has a C STICK, not a button. Squirt is fine, so everyone else gets more water, and that unfortunately means Glacier will be the first to submerge today. Sorry, buddy!" Everyone but Squirt has their tank fill more, and Glacier's goes a bit slower than normal to give him a chance to get ready.
S: Charmy- "Dang it!"
Lucky - "Say what??"
Squirt - "Yes!
Glacier - "What?!!?! No no no no no!!! Please no!!! Nooooo!!!! Noooooooo!!!!!!" *he's freaking out, noticing the water rising to get to the top, but his bodies instincts tell him to take a deep breath, so he does, now whimpering and crying and even banging on the tank's glass*
L: Sni-tii: "Knew it had a C-something, wasn't sure what."
Cirrus: "Sorry Glacier, but you knew going into this that there was no going back once you got in the tank. But hey, you've still got a chance for now! Now, we can't waste time at this point, so let's get to it. What is the biggest desert in the world?"
S: Squirt - "Uhhh... The mojave?? It's pretty big..."
Lucky - "I'm pretty sure it's the Sahara..."
Charmy - "This should be easy, it's the Sahara!"
Glacier - *thinks inside his mind* "Ok glacier...just relax and calm...you can still win! Just don't waste the 4 minutes of air and say the answer..."
*then he actually speaks*
"Tblhble sblbahara?"
L: Sni-tii: "Right, it's something you wouldn't expect, um... Oh, Antarctica!"
Cirrus: "It's Antarctica! Whether a place is a desert is only based on how much precipitation it gets, not the temperature!" Charmy, Lucky and Squirt have their tanks fill to 4/5, 3/5 and 3/5 respectively.
S: Charmy - "God damn it!"
Squirt - "Seriously??"
Glacier - "Nooblblooo!"
Lucky - "Oh come on!! This is going downhill..."
L: Sni-tii: "Never thought knowing that would actually help someday!"
Cirrus: "Next up, the eruption of what volcano destroyed Pompeii?"
S: Charmy - "Oh easy! It's Mount Vesuvius!"
Squirt - "I have no idea!"
Glacier - "Wblblait...iblbls it mblount vblesuvius?"
Lucky - "Mount Vesuvius? I think..."
L: Sni-tii: "...Mount... Saint Helens?"
Cirrus: "It's Mount Vesuvius! I've always found it strange that people still live near it..." Squirt and Sni-tii have their tanks fill to 4/5. Sni-tii is having a bit of difficulty keeping her head above the water, but she's managing it.
S: Squirt - "Oh no! My tank is almost full! Not good..."
Glacier - "Yebles!! Ibl goblt iblt!"
Charmy - "Alright!!!"
Lucky - "Let's go!"
L: Sni-tii: "...T-try to stay calm..."
Cirrus: "When was Google first created?"
S: Glacier - "Sblbleptember 4th, 1998! Ibl knblbow tblbhat one!"
Squirt - "I don't remember the exact date but the year was 1998 I think"
Charmy - "Uh oh...I don't know!"
Lucky - "September 1998?"
L: Sni-tii: "Oh boy, I don't know... 1997?"
Cirrus: "It was made on September 4th, 1998! Just the year is enough. And with that, Lucky's tank gets drained one step, Glacier gets closer to getting air, and Charmy and Sni-tii will be our next to go underwater!" Lucky's tank drains to 2/5, and Charmy and Sni-tii's tanks both start slowly filling to the top.
S: Charmy - "Ahhhh!! Oh no!!! I'm gonna be submerged!" *charmy takes a fearful breath of air*
Lucky - "Yes!"
Squirt - "Phew!"
Glacier - "🥹"
L: Sni-tii: "Argh, no!" She takes a deep breath and holds it, keeping quiet for now to save her air.
Cirrus: "What is D&D generally considered to stand for?"
S: Glacier - "Oblbl! Dunblbgeons and Dblbragons!"
Charmy - "......"
Squirt - "No clue"
Lucky - "I actually...don't know....wait, is it dungeons and dragons?"
L: Sni-tii: "Dungeblons and Drblagons." She keeps her response simple to not use much air.
Cirrus: "It's Dungeons and Dragons! I really like that game, feels perfect for me. And now, Lucky is the only contestant that's not submerged yet! Seems her confidence before actually had some merit!" Squirt's tank slowly fills the rest of the way.
S: Squirt - "Oh no! Not good!" *scared, squirt takes a deep breath and holds it as it fills to the top*
Lucky - "Let's goooo!!! Let's keep it that way!"
Glacier - "Illnlbl makble a comblble bacblblk..." *he said, his face turning red*
Charmy - "Grrrblblbl..."
L: Sni-tii doesn't saying anything, but glares at Lucky.
Cirrus: "What's the capital of Russia?"
S: Charmy - "Mblosblcow?"
Glacier - "Mosblblcow"
Lucky - "Easy, it's Moscow!"
Squirt - "M-mblblos....cowblbl?
L: Sni-tii looks at the others. "...Moscblow."
Cirrus: "Yep, you all got it! Lucky's tank gets drained more, and Sni-tii and Glacier both get a well-earned breather!" Lucky's tank drains to 1/5, and there's applause as both Sni-tii and Glacier have their tanks drain as well, now letting them breathe again.
S: Glacier - *gasps* "I can breathe again!!! Let's go!!! I'm doing it! Maybe this isn't so bad!"
Lucky - "Well good for you..."
Charmy - "...."
Squirt - "Lblucky"
L: Sni-tii fairly calmly exhales, not having been under too long. "I gotta get it together..."
Cirrus: "What is the fastest plane in the world?"
S: Glacier - "Wait...I studied planes a while back...I'm very sure it's the Lockheed Blackbird!"
Charmy - "Ugblbh..." *he's not used to bubbletalk so his face is already red*
Lucky - "Shoot...uhhh wasn't it...the Lockheed...Lockheed...dang it I forgot what the rest was!"
Squirt - "Nblo cblue...Tblbl blblack...blbird pblblane"
L: Sni-tii sighs. "I have no idea, planes have such weird names. Back under I go, I guess."
Cirrus: "It's the Lockheed Blackbird! Saw one in action once, they're incredible. It's a real shame they're not used any more." Lucky's tank goes back to 2/5 full, and Sni-tii needs to hold her breath again.
S: Lucky - "Blackbird! That's what it was! Dang!
Squirt - "Iblb tblbechbally wblbas rightblbl!"
Charmy - "Mmmph!" *charmy gets a grunt of strain as his face turns more red*
Glacier - "Yes! Let's go!"
L: Sni-tii coils herself up to help relax.
Cirrus: "Sorry Squirt, you had to say the name. Next question: In what sea is the Mariana Trench?"
S: Glacier - "The pacific ocean!"
Squirt - "Tblhe pblacific oblcean?"
Charmy - "Mmm...p-p-pblbacific....o-oblbcean...mmmm!!!" *she covers his mouth, fear in her eyes*
Lucky - "The Pacific Ocean...I think"
L: Sni-tii: "Thble... Pacific Oceblan."
Cirrus: "Everyone got it, and that'll be a tank drain for Glacier! Things are really turning around for you, huh?" Glacier's tank goes to 3/5 full.
S: Glacier - "I don't know how I'm getting so lucky! This is amazing! I guess the water woke me from my sleep or something, haha!"
Lucky - "He's starting to catch up to me! Yikes!"
L: Sni-tii looks over at Charmy with a bit of concern, a few little bubbles leaving her nostrils.
Cirrus: "Who is Mount Everest named after?"
S: *charmy looks over at sni-tii, bubbles leaving her nostrils as she pinches it closed, whimpering and whining*
Glacier - "Oh that one is easy! It's George Everest!
Charmy - "Mmmmm.... g-gblbeohge....ublblgh..."
Lucky - "Uhhhh...oh no...I don't know that one!
Squirt - "G-gbleoegre eblbeverest?"
L: Sni-tii: "...John Eveblrest, I don't knblow..."
Cirrus: "George Everest! That's another fifth of Lucky's tank filled, and a bit more work Sni-tii will need to be able to breathe again." Lucky's tank is now at 3/5.
S: Charmy - "Sblblo...clblbose...." *charmy is struggling hard, wanting to breathe so badly*

L: Sni-tii looks down and rubs her chest with her tail, finding it strange that she already feels a need to breathe.
Cirrus: "True or false: A medieval style knight was involved in a battle in World War 2."
S: Glacier - "Uh oh...ummm...true?"
Charmy - "Tblblbrue? Mmmmm!!!" *charmy is very close to inhaling water, her face now blue*
Lucky - "Imma say false..."
Squirt - "...Tblbrue?"
L: Sni-tii: "...Fablse, there's no wblay."
Cirrus: "It's true, actually! Wish I'd met the guy, he was probably pretty cool. Anyway, that's another tank drain for Glacier!" Glacier's tank drains to 2/5, and Lucky's fills to 4/5.
S: Glacier - "No way! NO WAY!!! Yes!"
Lucky - "Oh no! One more wrong answer and I'll get submerged! That wasn't on the agenda!"
Charmy - "Mmmm.....MMMMMMM!!!!!!" *charmy looks like she's gonna inhale water any second!*
Squirt - "Mm...mblbly lunbkbgs hblnurt..."
L: Sni-tii is starting to blush now, a couple grunts of strain being audible.
Cirrus: "What Marvel movie was the last to feature Iron Man?"
S: Glacier - "Wasn't it Avengers Endgame?"
Lucky - "Avengers Endgame!"
Squirt - "Ublbhh... Endblbgame?"
Charmy - "....." *charmy is too low on air to talk, her face fully blue*
L: Sni-tii: "Endgablme. Er, Avengblers Endgame, mighblt need thble whblole thing."
Cirrus: "Avengers Endgame! Just Endgame is fine as well. That's a tank drain for Squirt, sure looks like you need it!" Squirt's tank drains by a fifth.
S: *squirt gasps for air*
Squirt - "Oh finally! I can breathe! Yes!"
Glacier - "Hehe!"
Lucky - "I'm getting lucky..."
Charmy - "Mmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!" *charmy can't hold it on anymore, and opens her mouth, gulping in water!*
L: Sni-tii: "Mmh..." She nervously looks at Charmy, knowing she's likely going to be the same way fairly soon.
Cirrus: "Ah, there goes Charmy. We're getting into an endgame of our own, now... So! What's the fastest a human has ever run?"
S: Glacier - "I have no idea... imma take a guess and say, 27 mph?"
Lucky - "um, 25 Mph?
Charmy - "Mm...glglgl....mph...27 mph!!!! Glglglgl!!!!" *she managed to say that before her lungs get too full on water, trying to stop herself*
Squirt - "Um...27 mph?"
L: Sni-tii: "27 mph?"
Cirrus: "It's 27 mph. Sorry Charmy, but once you start drowning, you're out. Glacier, you seem to have taken Lucky's luck, you've got another tank drain and Lucky's finally going under!" Glacier's tank drains to 1/5 while Lucky's starts to completely fill.
S: Charmy - "Mmm......" *she whimpers as she drowns*
Glacier - "Ha! In your face lucky!"
Lucky - "Grrrrr!!!! I'll get you back for that!!" *she takes a deep breath of air as her tank fills completely*
Squirt - "The tables have turned...hehe!"
L: Sni-tii is clearly starting to struggle now, but she tries her best to stay calm, smiling a bit as she gets one step closer to breathing.
Cirrus: "Who did the highest BASE jump?"
S: Glacier - "What? Uhhh...I don't know... crud!"
Squirt - "Wasn't it...Valery...Rozov?"
Lucky - "Vablblery Rnlbozov!"
L: Sni-tii: "...V-valeblry... Rozoblv."
Cirrus: "Yep, Valery Rozov! That's a tank drain for Squirt and a fill for Glacier." Squirt's tank goes to 3/5, Glacier's to 2/5.
S: Glacier - "tank it! Uhhh I mean, dang it!"
Squirt - "Phew..."
Lucky - "Oblbne mblbore to go"
L: Bubbles spurt from Sni-tii nostrils as she nervously looks up at the top of her tank.
Cirrus: "How many people have walked on the moon? Not just been there, but actually walked on its surface."
S: Squirt - "Only 3 right?"
Glacier - "Imma guess... 12?"
Lucky - "12"
L: Sni-tii: "7?"
Cirrus: "It's 12. Lucky's got herself a chance to breathe again!" Her tank goes to 4/5 full. "From here, these are going to get even harder, so get ready."
S: Lucky - *gasps* "Finally!"
Squirt - "Uh oh..."
Glacier - "That can't be good..."
L: Sni-tii glances over at Charmy's drowned body and whines, her face starting to go purple.
Cirrus: "What sword is featured in nearly every video game made by FromSoftware?"
S: Squirt - "Umm swords?"
Lucky - "Moonlight Sword"
Glacier - "Umm, no idea...Moonlight sword..."
L: Sni-tii, clearly relying on Glacier's answer: "M-moonliblght sword."
Cirrus: "It's the Moonlight sword! As far as I know, only a couple of their games are missing it. Anyway, Glacier, you've drained your tank some more! And, Squirt, you're headed back under." Glacier's tank goes back to 1/5 filled, and Squirt's tank fills again.
S: Glacier - "Wow! I went from my tank being completely filled to now its almost empty! Amazing!"
Squirt - "I did say swords..."
Lucky - "That was pretty easy for me, I played a lot of that company's games"
L: Sni-tii wraps her tail around her mouth to help keep from losing air.
Cirrus: "Next up: Which American president needed a special bathtub installed because he was so big?"
S: Glacier - "Wasn't that William Taft?"
Lucky - "Uhhh William Taft?"
Squirt - "...."
L: Sni-tii moves her tail off her mouth to talk. "W-Willbliam Taft." She then puts her tail back.
Cirrus: "Yep, William Taft! Another tank drain for Lucky!" Lucky's tank goes to 3/5 full.
S: Lucky - "Alright!!"
Glacier - "Hehe!"
Squirt - "Grrrblbl..."
L: Sni-tii is starting to shiver with her need for air, her face going more blue than is normal for her as bubbles stream from her nostrils.
Cirrus: "Who wrote The Great Gatsby?"
S: Glacier - "Aha! I know it! I read that book! I'm pretty sure it's Francis Frizgerald..."
Lucky - "Oh no...I never read that story, I don't know!"
Squirt - "Frblblancis Friblbzgerald..."
L: Sni-tii: "Hblow am Ibl suppblosed tblo knoblw that!?" She doubles over, her eyes going wide, and she finally can't hold back a gasp. She thrashes in the tank as he starts to choke.
Cirrus: "Oh, looks like Sni-tii's done. Anyway, it was Francis Fitzgerald. Glacier, you've actually emptied your tank entirely, good work!" Lucky's tank fills to 4/5, and Glacier's empties out.
S: Glacier - "Let's go!!! Hahaha!"
Lucky - "How is he getting so damn lucky!? Ugh!!"
Squirt - "Snblblbi-tblblblii!! Noblblbo!!" *he cries as he sees his lover drown...making him lose more air because of it*
L: Sni-tii notices Squirt, and tries to comfort him, forcing herself to talk between gasps. "I-it's okhay, *gurglk* I-I'll b-be *glk* f-fine!" She gives him a strained smile before she can't hold off her instincts any more, audibly gasping more water.
Cirrus: "She'll be okay, Squirt, try to stay calm. Next question: In what game did Sonic the Hedgehog first appear?"
S: Squirt - "Nblblbooooo....i-i canblblt take blit!" *not even noticing the question as he's way too concerned for sni-tii*
Lucky - "Huh? Well wouldn't it be the game sonic the hedgehog?"
Glacier - "No no no Lucky, he first appears in rad mobile! Thank goodness a friend of mine told me that..."
L: Sni-tii slowly calms down while still doing her best to stay awake, almost looking drunken as her breaths of water start to slow.
Cirrus: "It's Rad Mobile, yeah! It's really weird the first game he was in wasn't even his. Lucky, you're headed back under again." Lucky's tank starts filling to the top again.
S: Lucky - "Darn it! Back to breath holding I guess" *she takes a deep breath before her tank fills up*
Squirt - "Sblblni-tblblbli...." *squirt has done so much crying that his face is already deep blue, and just like that, he inhales water!*
Glacier - "Omg! Can't believe this right now!"
L: Sni-tii wobbles a bit, then collapses, finally passing out.
Cirrus: "Oh, it's just Lucky and Glacier left now! Alright, the next question: What color is oxygen when chilled to the point it's liquid?"
S: Lucky - "Heblbles nblbot goblbnna win... tblbl answer is blblue
Glacier - "I'm pretty sure it's blue"
L: Cirrus: "Yep, it's blue! First time we haven't had a change in water levels today... Neat."
S: Lucky - "Yoblblur gonblblna gblnet it!"
Glacier - "Ha! Save your breath! I'm gonna make the unexpected comeback!"
L: "Alright, next up, true or false: There exists a liquid that's perfectly safe to breathe."
S: Glacier - "Well considering this water is technically safe, imma say true"
Lucky - "Nablbh it's fblbalse!"
L: "It's true! Not only is this altered water safe, there's this stuff called perfluorocarbon that you can breathe like it's air!"
S: Lucky - "WHABLBLBLT?!?!??! Mmmm!!" *she covers her mouth as she lost a lot of air, her face red*
Glacier - "Hahaha! Let's go!"
L: "Keep hold of your air, Lucky, you've got your work cut out for you! Next question: In what year was the English version of the first Pokemon movie released?"
S: Glacier - "Easy! 1999!"
Lucky - "1998"
L: "1999! The Japanese version was released the previous year. Now, I'm not gonna say the winner's already decided, but Lucky now has to get 6 questions right to breathe."
S: Glacier - "Whoa! Haha! Good luck with that!"
Lucky - "I'mblbl soblbl scblbrewed...."

L: "Sorry, all that'll happen if you do that is that Glacier will win and you'll just drown anyway, everyone who loses on this show has to drown. It's just how it works here. Although if you want to just get on with it, purposely inhaling is fine."
S: "Oblh comblble onblb! Ublbgh!"
Glacier - "Hehehe...."
Lucky - "Qbkbuit laugblblghing!!!! Mmmm!!" *she let's out a ton of air from that*
L: "Alright, let's get back to it, for what it's worth at this point. What does IQ stand for?"
S: Glacier - "Uhhh, crud...I know the first word is intelligence...but I forgot the other part!"
Lucky - "Sblbcrew thisblbl, iblbm gonna drownblblblnl anyblbyays" *talking herself into it, she opens her mouth and drowns on purpose*
L: "Oh, that's it! With Lucky now drowning, that leaves Glacier as the winner!" There's applause as Glacier's tank opens.
S: Glacier - *gasp* "i-i won?!?! Omg!!! I WON?!?!?" *Glacier climbs out of the tank, then jumps up and down happily*
"I won! I won! I won!!! Omg!!!"
L: "I'm really happy for you too, you had nothing to worry about after all!" Once Lucky is fully drowned, all the tanks drain, and the other contestants start to wake up.
S: *they all gasp in air*
Charmy - "..whoa...w-what happened??"
Squirt - "Aw man...I lost... that was scary...
Lucky - "Hmmph!"
Glacier - "I-i still can't believe I won!!! This is amazing!!"
L: Sni-tii: "At least I wasn't last... You okay, Squirt?"
Cirrus: "Glacier, is there anything you want to say to the audience as we wrap things up here?"
S: Squirt - "I'm ok now... it was just really scary watching you drown like that..." *he goes over and hugs sni-tii, tearing coming from his eyes*
Glacier - "Well, if you think your gonna be the first one out, never ever give up! Also...practice bubbletalking, in case you end up on this show yourself! Haha!"
L: There's applause at Glacier's little speech.
Sni-tii wraps herself around Squirt. "I probably would have felt the same if you were first..." She gives him a quick kiss.
Cirrus: "Certainly seems like good advice to me! To both the audience and the contestants, thanks for coming by for today's show!"
S: Squirt - "Yeah..." *he kisses her back, nuzzling her tightly*
Charmy - "I have came in last...but I still had fun!"
Lucky - "Was hoping to win...but oh well"
Glacier - "I can't wait to claim my prize!"
L: Sni-tii hugs Squirt a little tighter, smiling and closing her eyes.
Cirrus happily bows to the audience as the curtain falls again. Once it's down, he looks at the contestants again. "Now, if all of you could come with me, there ARE consolation prizes. And, of course, Glacier needs to get his reward for winning!"
S: Charmy - "Wait for real!?"
Squirt - "Oh! Cool!"
Lucky - "Alright that makes up for the loss"
Glacier - "Awesome!!!"
L: Sni-tii: "Oh, nice!"
Cirrus: "Yep, you'll all at least be getting something for having to put up with drowning." Cirrus leads the group backstage to hand out their prizes.
