But in AU (anthro) version, he doesn't need a wheelchair anymore, as he has successfully full recovered by a great specialist treatment and more therapies. Now, he's often to do some physical exercise every morning, to stabilize his body and legs.
Meanwhile, Since everyone knows that Rex is a handsome guy, so, he'll decide to put a bag mask to cover on his head with a fake expression and tighten it with using rope on his neck to make sure not easily to take off whenever he's doing some physical exercise. So, no one knows who is he. Only showing off his muscle or twink body.
