Not a spellcaster in the traditional sense, the mage uses magical foci and pre-made items to cast various spells and effects. This tends to leave them considerably more limited than traditional wizards, and requires a good deal of expenditure for items, unless one happens to get lucky. Guess it's a good thing foxes are born lucky!
