After waking up on Mobius, Scourge immediately tries to return to his original plan of taking over both worlds. However, when he fights Sonic once more, the shocked hero's announcement turns the green punk's world upside down... Reality had been rewritten by Eggman. Fiona is no more. The Destructix are no more. Moebius is no more. Half of Mobius' population has been changed or removed entirely... He has no kingdom to rule.
Even his own memories are something of a bygone era, a fragment that somehow survived and possessed a regular Mobian hedgehog of similar looks--according to the Freedom Fighters.
Unable to cope with the sudden knowledge, he Chaos Controls away, running and rampaging until he winds up at the house of Moss the Sloth. This strange, charming man takes him in despite his raving, helping him come to terms with his old memories and what he really desires.
When Scourge reappears again, he's definitely a changed man, having traded the leather jacket and shoes for a silken robe decorated with runes and a penchant for magic. He's also much calmer now, though still cocky, and seems eager to just... get to know this new world he has to live in.
