Sometimes life throws you a wicked curveball, and you find yourself doing things other than what you expected to be. Such is the case for Stephen, a former police officer. A freak incident took the life of his wife and injured his legs, prompting him to leave the force. He now spends his days as a tattoo artist, bringing people's desires to life, before coming home to the company of his canine companion.
While one wouldn't think a tattoo artist would be barefoot, Stephen pretty much has to be due to the damage in his legs. His nerves have lost sensation, and after trial and error he discovered keeping his bare sole on the pedal helped him keep control of the mechanism. While it's a lifestyle choice, it does stir some interesting conversation in clients, and he's had his fair share of hot guys and gals flirting with him while he works.
It's not how he expected to live, but he's making the most of it, and he's pretty happy where he is now.
