Although they are not the same species, Ikeshia and Korinthe (the leopard and tiger adults), love did not keep them apart. Korinthe and his son Kalan (the tiger cub), fled their home in Kyria when their city was attacked. They took refuge in Sarnala with many other refugees, and it was there that Korinthe met Ikeshia. Even though the two have had their own beautiful little mixed-breed cub, Ikeshia is very mindful to include Kalan in all she does and to be a good stepmother to him.

Korinthe is an old friend of Lyrus', from when the Cheliat lion was first journeying through Pagona.
