Pagona Traditions
Coming of Age - The equines of Pagona/Pashein have long-celebrated their fillies and colts becoming adults with a lavish coming of age party. The young horses are always given an expensive piece of clothing to wear on their special day, either a very lavish dress, or a silk suit. Sometimes these items are passed down from mother to daughter, father to son, but more often than not they are purchased new. The filly or colt will wear their traditional dress or suit for the entire party, only changing into something more comfortable after every guest has gone home- and these parties sometimes go very, very late into the night.
Another popular occurrence at a Pashein coming of age party, is a wedding proposal. It's almost expected for a mare-to-be to be proposed to on her special day, or for a stallion-to-be to propose to the lady he's been eyeing; hence why so often, these parties grow to be very large, involving lots of creatures, food, dancing, and celebration.
