! Meet Nilas, a diving echidna who lives in the chilly northern regions.
His species is one of the few that adapted to have fur on their soles for extra warmth. Nilas in particular has a unique ability to supercool his knuckle spikes, causing any moisture around them to freeze. In the water, this forms ice shells which he can then fire off like arrows to spear through fish. This is his main method of hunting and how he brings in food for his people.
