I will say this, Disney in my mind has grown too big for its own good, too many of the franchises it owns it doesn't do anything with. not to mention its corrupt practices and refusal to let its characters become part of the public domain. what I hope for is for Disney to be forced to go back to what it does best (that is making magical family entertainment) and is forced to sell off its property, starwars needs to be in the hands of the fans or locus.

I love Disney’s characters, their animated movies, and the MCU as much as the next Disney person, however I failed to see why this Centennial of Disney is anything to celebrate, they have suffered box office bomb after bomb, “Wish” they’re so celebration of Disney. Centennial hasn’t even made its budget back. park attendance has gone down ⏬️ but park prices have gone up ⬆️ which is not good for a theme park.(cocktail cost 5 grand in one of their attractions!) Disney+ has lost millions of subscribers and counting. The lead address for the Snow White remake, has tanked the films reputation with her words & actions, the actor, who supposed to be the bad guy for the MCU is being charged domestic violence. The MCU in general is in dire state (and that’s me being polite) I am not faulting for loving Disneys characters, and their films and shows, however, loving Disney the corporation and Disney’s characters TV series and video games are very different things and then not the same. This has been financially a disaster for Disney and I believe they deserve it, the only way can be saved. Is they need to rebuild from the ground up if Walt Legacy has any hope of being saved. They need to stop being so draconian with copyright PS merry Christmas 🎄

The way Disney has been executing everything, the way they've been making their movies and shows, it all feels so uninteresting except for a few rare gems which are few and far between. The inclusion itself isn't a problem for me but the way they execute it is, it feels very disingenuous and spectacle-ish and like they're just pandering, and this is coming from someone who is a part of those communities. They have literally changed the law of the land to keep their IPs from going public domain for over a century, and the cherry on top is the CEOs' missions to eradicate animation in most sectors of entertainment, saying it's ONLY for little kids.
I hope Disney has something coming to them soon. They've lost their magic in just a single decade and only other people and other companies can recapture it
