Amy Rose is probably a good example that I can think of that shows character growth. She kind of went from scared and obsessive to independent and...slightly less obsessive? I don't know. Ohh, goth amy is very nice! The skirt behind her is a very nice touch! I think Amy definitely went through more growth than anyone, starting off as being solely obsessed with sonic and needing constant rescue, to standing up for herself and others and becoming a hero in her own right!
