When ever a communist revolution succeeds, the leaders of the new government usually round up and execute the rebels after they have served their purpose. The reason for that is the new leaders fear the very rebels they used to gain them control of the country. The new leaders don't want to risk the rebels launching a 2nd revolution against them like they did against the former government they've taken down.
It is said there are two scenarios when a government of a country is the most dangerous of all. One is when it is eminent a government is about to fall. The other is when a new government has recently seized power and is not yet fully established.

Propaganda is bad in any case, even if it is propaganda against communists. Communists are a huge number of people with completely different characters. Communists are completely normal people, exactly the same people as in any region and in any country in the world. Only a person filled with xenophobia can argue with this. There are no bad countries, only bad people. If nationalists and xenophobes lead the country, this could turn into war. Hitler once ruled Germany, but you probably don’t think that all the people in this country were always bad and gave birth to the wrong descendants, just because Hitler ruled this country and this country was the aggressor in the war. Xonophobes and nationalists are potential aggressors if somehow they become the head of the state, and such people exist in absolutely all countries and there are quite a few of them, so this can happen in any sufficiently strong country that can wage war against a weaker opponent.
