Sonic Boom Halloween Forest Chapter Two
Sonic, Tails, Amy. Perci and Zooey went into the spare bedroom. They saw three beds and a window inside. When they walked in, Perci closed the door. Zooey sat down on one of the beds. She noticed Tails looking out the window.
Zooey: Something wrong, Tails?
Tails: You think the killer's still looking for us?
(Zooey looks outside)
Zooey: I hope not.
Perci: I should probably go see if Sticks needs any help downstairs. Maybe she's planning on fortifying the house in case the killer comes in.
Amy: Good plan. If I know Sticks, she probably has a few tricks on her sleeves.
Perci leaves the bedroom. Meanwhile, the others were already in bed.
Sonic: Good night.
(The group fell asleep)
Suddenly, there was a sound of broken glass. Sonic and Amy woke up when they heard it.
Sonic: Did you hear that?
Amy: Yeah. Sounded like a broken window.
Sonic: We better go check it out.
Amy: Good idea.
Sonic and Amy left the bedroom and walked downstairs to see what the matter was. When they went downstairs, they looked at the living room and were shocked at what they saw in front of them.
Both: What the...?
To their horror, the killer broke into Sticks' home. He was holding Sticks by the neck while Perci was lying on the ground with a knife in her stomach. Sticks looks at them before saying one word.
Sticks: Run!
Sonic and Amy ran back upstairs. As they did, the killer threw Sticks into the kitchen, knocking over items on the counter. The killer then grabbed an axe from a nearby stump and followed Sonic and Amy upstairs. The two hedgehogs made it back into the bedroom just as the killer was on his way upstairs.
Sonic: Lock the door! Quick!
(Amy locks the door)
Tails and Zooey woke up and saw Sonic and Amy out of breath.
Tails: What happened?
Amy: The killer is coming!
Zooey: What?!
Just as Zooey and Tails got up, the killer struck the door with the axe. They looked to see that the killer was breaking down the door with the axe.
Tails: What are we going to do?
Sonic looks behind him and sees the window over by the bed he was sleeping in.
Sonic: I got an idea! We can get out through the window!
Amy: Smart.
The group ran towards the window. They grabbed one of the beds and used it to break the window open. Just as they got the window open, the killer broke down the door with the axe. But before he could walk inside, Sonic, Tails, Amy and Zooey jumped out of the window.
Sonic: Everybody, run!
The group started running as the killer watched them through the window. The killer then raised the axe over his head and threw it out of the window. The axe flew towards the group until it hit Amy in the back. She fell to the ground in pain.
Sonic: Amy!
Zooey: Are you okay?
Amy: Define "Okay".
(Tails and Zooey helps her back to her feet)
Tails: The killer must've thrown that axe at you pretty hard. Do you think you can make it?
Amy: I think I'll be okay, Tails, but I don't know how much farther I can run.
(Sonic looks to see a cabin straight ahead)
Sonic: There's an old cabin up ahead, guys. Perhaps we can hide in there.
Zooey: Better than taking our chances with the killer.
Amy placed her arm over Tails and Zooey's shoulders so they can carry her. Sonic led them through the trees, until they eventually found the cabin.
Sonic: Well, this is the place.
(The group went inside)
Sonic: Better have a look around and secure this cabin before the killer finds us.
Tails: Good plan.
Sonic had a look around the cabin while Zooey sets Amy down onto a nearby chair. Tails locks the door, hoping it'll keep the killer out.
Tails: There, I locked the door. Hopefully, the killer won't come in, unless he has a key with him.
Amy: Good thinking.
(Zooey pulls the axe out of Amy's back)
Amy: Thank you for that.
Zooey: You're welcome. I better look for some bandages for that wound.
Zooey walked off and found Sonic looking at two doors. They were both covered with wooden boards.
Zooey: Something wrong, Sonic?
Sonic: The bedroom and bathroom are both boarded off.
Zooey: How strange.
Sonic and Zooey went back to see Tails and Amy. Zooey was able to find some bandages for Amy. Afterwards, they looked around the cabin. Tails found a table with a lot of knives on top of it.
Tails: Hey, guys, there's a pile of knives on this table.
Zoeey: Weird. Who would keep this many knives?
Amy noticed something in the corner. When she looked at it, she was shocked at what she saw.
Amy: Um... guys? There's a pile of bodies here.
Sonic: Where?
Amy: Over there in the corner.
(The others looked)
They saw several dead bodies in the corner, including Knuckles and Dave the Intern. And then, Sonic realized something.
Sonic: Wait a minute...
(His eyes went wide with horror)
Sonic: THIS IS THE KILLER'S CABIN!
Tails: Wait, if this is the killer's cabin, then that means...
(Suddenly, they heard the door opening and closing)
The group looked to see the killer walking inside. When he walked towards the light, the group realized who the killer was. To their surprise, it was Metal Sonic.
Sonic: The killer is Metal Sonic!
(Metal Sonic pulls out a knife)
Sonic: Get back!
The others joined together as Metal Sonic walked towards them, twirling the knife in his hand. He then raised the knife and swung it at Amy, but she blocked it with her hammer. She then knocked him back. Just as she was about to do another attack, Amy felt a sharp pain in her back, falling to her knees.
Amy: Blast. Forgot my back is still healing from that axe.
Metal Sonic walked towards Amy, but before he could stab her, he was hit in the back of the head by a boomerang. The others looked behind him and to their surprise, it was Sticks.
Amy: Sticks! Are we glad to see you.
Metal Sonic glares at Sticks as she catches her boomerang.
Sticks: This time, I'm ready for you.
Metal Sonic charges at Sticks, but she was able to jump over him as well as give him a kick on the back of the head. Zooey then remembers the axe that hit Amy earlier. Grabbing the axe, she looks at Sticks just as she lands on her feet.
Zooey: Sticks, catch!
(Zooey throws the axe towards Sticks)
Sticks catches and looks at Metal Sonic who was now really mad. He raises his knife and swings it at Sticks, but she was able to dodge it. She then raises the axe and struck Metal Sonic in the back with it. He collapsed on the ground.
Sticks: That's for Knuckles and Perci, along with all the other mobians you killed.
Amy: Nice work, Sticks.
Sticks: Thanks.
Zooey: What do we do now?
Sonic: Head back into town and call the police.
Tails: Sounds good to me. I think we had enough scares for one day.
The group walked towards the door, but before they could leave the cabin, Metal Sonic stood up. He picks up the knife he dropped and charged at Sonic. Just as he was about to attack him, something stopped Metal Sonic in his tracks. Sonic and his friends turned around and to their surprise, it was Knuckles.
All: Knuckles?!
Knuckles: I'm... not dead yet.
(He socks Metal Sonic in the face, knocking him into a wall)
Knuckles fell on one knee, clutching his chest in pain. The other ran towards, still surprised that he's still alive.
Tails: We can't believe you're still alive, Knuckles!
Amy: Tails said you were dead! What happened?
Knuckles: Well, I wasn't exactly dead. I just passed out. Turns out I still had a little bit of fight left in me. What about you guys?
Sonic: It's a long story, but no time to talk about it now.
The others looked to see Metal Sonic getting up. The others were ready to fight back. Metal Sonic starts swinging the knife at Sonic, but he dodges and grabs one of the knives from the table. When Metal Sonic turns around, his organic counterpart threw the knife into his chest. Metal Sonic fell to his knees, but he looks up at Sonic, knowing he wasn't finished yet.
Sonic: Are you kidding me?
(Amy ran towards Metal Sonic and whacks him on the back of the head)
Amy: Sonic, run!
(Sonic runs past Metal Sonic)
Glaring at the pink hedgehog, Metal Sonic swings hi knife at Amy. However, she blocks it.
Knuckles: We got to help Amy!
(Tails looks at the table of knives)
Tails: I have an idea.
Zooey: What is it?
Tails: The table with the knives over there. Perhaps we can use it to our advantage.
(The others realized what he meant)
Sonic: First, let's get Amy out of the way.
Sticks: I'm with you, Sonic.
Sonic and Sticks ran towards Metal Sonic and tackles him. Amy realized what they were planning and joined the others. Metal Sonic swung his knife, but Sonic and Sticks dodged it.
Sticks: Finish him, guys!
(Sonic and Sticks jumped out of the way)
Just as they moved out of the way, Zooey, Knuckles and Tails grabbed the table and lifted it up. They threw it and Amy whacks it with her hammer, causing it to fly straight towards Metal Sonic. Before the robotic hedgehog was about to go after Sonic, he looked to see the table heading towards him as well some of the knives which flew off the table and were pointed straight at him. And then, Metal Sonic was impaled by the knives and crushed by the table before falling to the ground.
Tails: Are you okay, Sonic?
Sonic Yeah, I'm fine. But what about Metal Sonic?
Sticks: See for yourself.
The group walked towards Metal Sonic. He was lying on the ground with multiple knives in his body and was lying in a pool of oil. The group gave a sigh of relief.
Sticks: It is over.
Amy: Yes, we don't have to worry about him anymore.
Zooey: We can call the police when we get back into town.
Tails: Agreed. We can finally walk back home safely.
Sonic: Let's go home, guys. I think we've all had enough scares for one night.
Knuckles: You and the rest of us.
(They smiled)
Amy, Zooey and Sticks: Happy Halloween, boys.
Sonic, Tails and Knuckles: Happy Halloween, girls.
And so, the group left the cabin and made their way back into the town, glad that the nightmare on Halloween was finally over. Sonic then looks at the readers and with a smile, this is what he said.
Sonic: Happy Halloween, everyone.
