Hm..... I wonder what a real Ancient echidna warrior look like base on those idols. Im guessing they have armor and tattoo /facepaint there forehead with a helmet that protects their 2 front dreadlocks.

Nice. I love seeing art just of these unique items and other curios from the Sonic games. I like to think after Chaos was beaten and things returned to normal, Knuckles actually came back and took these idols to his home on Angel Island. Mementos of his history and so they don't end up in a museum on the other side of the planet.
