Not all holy men handle dark forces with holy water and preaching. Jedediah, or Jed as he prefers to go by, is the main force of divine power handling issues on earth. When even the best deacons can't get rid of a nasty spirit, Jed is happy to step in and handle any supernatural shenanigans.
Often times, it's just a wayward spirit that's having a bit too much fun on earth. Other times it's a true demon causing mayhem without regard for its surroundings, making humans suffer. With his good looks, charisma, and well-manicured feet out on display, he's a real charmer too, able to woo even the most adamant entities to follow his lead, allowing him to coerce them to the other side, or leave them open for a holy bullet from one of his trusty guns.
