I've wanted to do a Once-ler Glori for ages, what better time than Halloween?
So confession: never actually sat down and watched The Lorax (2012). I am quite aware of the movies legacy as being a 'so bad it's good' trainwreck, being not exactly the most anti-corporate piece of media despite the view of source material's original message, and spawning the young hip Once-ler and fandom behind it... yeah I can see why that last part happened lol
My main love actually comes from rock-opera styled song Biggering which was cut for being either too dark or too anti-corporate (which is so tastefully ironic), and the fan-made animatic that a fan made for it which goes friggin' hard. Not gonna lie though "How Bad Can I Be?" is pretty fun too though, but I love those the rock opera vibe so much more.
I may be a sucker for the scenery gorn from factories and industry, and themes of greed, pride, and those oh so sweet fall from that hubris.
