Character Sheet for Kai Stoneburg Daemon
Character Description
Kai's main powers are as follows:
-His Willpower.
Most demons have the ability to twist the world as they see fit. Kai can use this ability to effect the material plain with his thoughts, usually in the form of a short range
Shockwave that can desolated anything that has less will then him. There are ways to avoid damage, but if you challenge Kai to a will check and fail, Kai will nutcheck you using you're own strength and will against you. Success will disabled Kai's will attacks for a long time.
-Hell fire
Kai doesn't have very much magical talent, which he makes up for with raw power. He can use his body as a medium between worlds to pull fire from the plains of hell to the material world. Usually this is in the form of condensed balls of flame, but he can also use his body to summon up a more terrible intelligent fire that will hunt down food till it dies at the cost of his health.
-swordsmanship
As a master Swordsman, Kai takes EXTREME pride in his skill and convents the title highly. He's no joke either; though he lacks refinement and proper training, Kai can change sword styles on the fly and can learn new tricks by simply watching. With a sword, Kai can extend his very being; attacking with a beam of "Glint"on the light off the sword's blade. (basically a sword-beam)
Personality
Arrogant, self-centered idiot are the words most people describe Kai has.
Kai doesn't care, he just wants to have fun. Fighting? Fun! Acting out for attention? Why not? Growing more powerful to the point no one can stop you? Oh hell yea! If there's a chance it could bring him enjoyment the likelyhood is he'll do it.
That being said there's a lot of lines Kai won't cross. He can't stand misery and will go out of his way to help people who don't deserve it. He doesn't kill for fun, though killing IS fun, it's not something you do when ever you feel like it. This is complicated by the fact his body physically craves brutality. Kai is also extremely loyal to those he calls friends, which is why he doesn't have very many. He can't afford to be emotionally invested in someone who will let him down.
Kai can't decide if he's a sadist or a manicist. He doesn't LIKE pain or causing it, but deems it nessisary to fuel his lifestyle(especially to summon his sword by drawing his own blood) to win
Likes/Dislikes
Kai is your typical male if you want to generalize males.
Kai Smokes, drinks and likes to fight. He also has minor addiction to healing potions. He never travels far without an auto injector full of a regenerative serum.
He hates politics, lawyers, and squirrels. especially squirrels... stupid nut crunching chattering pieces of sh-
Kai loves doing fun things, but his tastes are kinda boring. he's very picky about food, music, tv, clothes... ect.
his favorite meal is plain salmon, well done, with salt and pepper seasoning. Lemon is fine, but no cilantro.
Relatives/Family
Caine-
Caine is Kai's other half, basically his evil twin, but aligned with the light. Caine beat Kai once before in a fair fight, and it goes to reason he could do it again. It is this fact that makes Kai strive a little harder. It doesn't end either; no matter how strong Kai becomes in hid mind Caine has already become stronger, so he must become stronger. It's a vicious cycle of paranoia and fear of the unknown.
Caine also was the last known owner of Kai's other super Artifact, the Time Medallion. Whether or not he still owns it is unknown, but it can counter Kai's Space Medallion and effectively counter his strongest magic.
'Kitty'-
Kitty, as it prefers to be called, is a superpowerful being of unknown origin or motive. Kitty mostly identifies itself as a female, but she us not limited to one body. Kitty has lived thousands of different Lives and can turn into any previous life or create a new identity. Kitty uses her knowledge to mentor both Caine and Kai.
World/Setting
Kai isn't bound to one world. Any existence that contains supernatural power Kai can travel to with some help. When he goes to another world or dimension, he becomes bound by their rules, usually losing his Space Medallion.
Body
Kai's body is a mixture of different things. He mostly identifies as a cat, though his ears and personality are the only cat like things about him.
He had large muscular arms and large predatory teeth and claws. his paws are unique with a rough substance that allows him to grip down better on surfaces; almost able to hang off flat walls.
as a demon he can shape-shift his form to better suit his needs such as a tail, some horns, and some wings. he still has yet to master his wings.
he can also disguise himself as a normal person, but doing so suppresses his Demonic strength.
Kai is handsome, but his aura makes him more so then normal. it creates a demonic attraction which can infatuate people without Kai realizing it.
one finale note is that demons are gender-less, though Kai's Chi is male dominate to a fault.
Clothing
Kai's Jacket-
Kai's jacket is special to him as it was the one he wore when he became a demon. Do to this, it's absorbed some of his aura and is resistant to flame and damage while protecting the wearer from cold weather.
Accessories
Infinite-storage Backpack:
It's a plain leather rucksack with two leather fastened straps that hold it closed, and a small hole in the bottom. While it looks ordinary, inside is a small pocket-universe that is much bigger on the inside. The weight of the bag isn't effected by the weight of the objects inside it.
Space Medallion-
A strange artifact that controls Matter. allows for dimensional travel, as well as space manipulation. it's most powerful magic is to create a bolt of antimatter; a vortex that warps and destroys everything it touches.
after use the Space Medallion needs time to recharge. Kai usually leaves this behind so that it doesn't get stolen.
50.cal Magnum Special- a specially designed 6-shooter made my Kai's friend Chewy. the gun is built with a large amount of mechanical parts down to a micro scale. the shell is re-enforced with special carbon hardend titanium (as Kai tends to wear down all his equipment). the gun has clip releaser that expels the bullets forward for easy reload. holding the clip release will hold the bullets in the chamber until released; while like this if Kai pulls the trigger all the bullets will fire at once out the chamber. Without the barrel guide this attack has no acuracy and will most likely damage the gun.
Kai is a terrible shot with a gun, but within his aura distance (about 10 meters) he has almost perfect accuracy. this is due to his phantom eye effectively letting him 'cheat' by showing him the best place to fire.
(Kai is way better with a bow and arrow then he is with a gun.)
healing tonic- Kai makes special healing potions in an instant injector. these potions are infused with demonic essence to give them more kick and giving their patient a limited powerboost.
