There's so many great ones that were funny as a kid, but make even more sense as an adult!

I often reference the DMV episode when I'm talking about the time I took a Japanese driver's test, since it was pretty much that exact thing!

...and few people know what I'm referring to...

Yeah I had a friend of mine who lived there for a while in an immersive language (and culture) study. He was there long enough to need a license and described it pretty much like that. While he loved the countryside in the North, he found he liked the people and the food in Osaka best. I really wish I could visit someday.
