Just a re-do of a picture I'd drawn years ago. I felt adrift and without direction then, and I'm still feeling that way now, edging my fifties.

I'm almost fifty and I'm still drawing this shit. What can I say? It brings comfort... and carpal tunnel. I could do without the carpal tunnel.

Even when we get older, we can still enjoy the stuff we like and draw. I don't really see a problem with that. Sure, things like that happen to us when we're older like our body ain't what it used to be. But hey, if you can still do it, I say do it if you still got the itch.

Frisky is certainly one of the long running Babyfurs in the community. I remember him in the mid to late 2000s when I was a few years into it.

Ah, alright. I was born in the 90s. I was not around or aware of the early Babyfur days.

If I recall, I cme across the Babyfurs when I saw Marci badges on some peoples LiveJournals one day when I was looking up Care Bears Movie 2: A New Generation. Someone went under Harmony Bear using her baby scenes in his or her journal back in the mid 2000s when I got into the film.

I saw those Marci badges going as far back as late 90s and early 2000s. If I had to wager a guess, the Babyfur thing became its own category at least around the late 90s early 2000s.
