"Drowned, but not out"
With a weak gurgle, the very last of the drowned ampharos' air bubbled from their flooded lungs, and as their eyelids started to slide shut... They allowed their electricity to flow freely through their body. Quickly, they came back to awareness despite the blue on their face, shakily standing up on the seabed they'd sunk to. They could survive off electricity instead of oxygen, but their body was NOT made for this; it was hard to make themselves breathe, but also hard to not breathe, and they felt dizzy and a bit sleepy. Despite all this, the ampharos was enjoying themselves, an occasional hiccup, cough, or loud gasp being audible as they wandered the seabed.
Nearly 10 minutes passed like this, and any trace of oxygen in the ampharos' body was long gone, leaving their skin with a blue tint all over. They grew annoyed with the dizziness and sleepiness, sitting down to rub themselves and realizing they'd gone somewhat numb. Trying to fix the issues they were having, they breathed heavily, momentarily forgetting it wasn't doing anything, and raised the voltage coursing through them, electricity crackling around them. They weren't quite sure either of those were helping.
