Once upon a time there was a little squirrel named Nubby, who lived in the forest. Nubby was a great squirrel and loved to climb and jump through the trees.
One day Nubby met a beaver named Max. Max was unlike any other animal Nubby knew, he lived in a big dam further down the river and had huge teeth!
When Nubby and Max first saw each other, they were a bit shy, but they quickly became friends. Nubby learned from Max how to build dams and Max learned from Nubby how to climb trees.
After a while, Nubby and Max realized that they felt more than just friendship for each other. They realized they had fallen in love with each other!
It took some getting used to, because they were of course very different. But they saw that it was possible to be together, despite their different lifestyles and preferences.
Nubby even thought about building a treehouse for her and Max, where they could live together and be happy.
They knew that many animals in the forest would view them differently. But that didn't stop them from loving each other and being themselves.
In the end, Nubby and Max lived happily ever after together and everyone in the forest eventually came around them to learn from their unique and inspiring relationship.
