This morning, I've been thinking about the part on the Big Adventure movie when Pee-wee gets a ride with an escaped convict driving a 1958 Edsel convertible. While riding along, Pee-wee notices a hand cuff bracelet with the chain cut off on the driver's wrist. Pee-wee asks him, "What'd you do?" The driver replies, "I got a bad temper. One day I got mad at someone and I took a knife..." The driver then realizing Pee-wee as who he was, then continued, "Well...You know those tags on mattresses that says do not remove, under penalty of law?" Pee-wee acknowledged, "Yea". The driver then says, "Well, I cut one of them off".
