Comparing the anime version to this, I think I see now why the eyes don't look quite right...
The anime version has a little shading around the top edges of her eyewhites that suggest her eyes are round (and why Avalon's looks a little unreal). The rest of the face is an improvement from the anime -- she doesn't look like a billard ball with eyes now. Maybe even bring the sides of her back, next to the eyes, in a little bit because it'd probably let you get away with shrinking those eyebrows just a tiny amount.
