Yep. Daisuke.. He's a bit cocky, to tell you the truth. I like his music, not always his attitude. I haven't worked much on Chrono Phantasma, but I was apart of the CS team. In fact, Continuum Shift actually refers to my scientific idea that every single thought ever imagined is put through a shifting cycle of dimensions. For instance: You created Gaki, but in a parallel dimension, Gaki created you. There are billions of different possibilities on how this day could have been carried out, thus creating a time loop, in which those billions of possibilities are carried out in a reflection of eachother, like reliving the same exact day, except this time a bug gets splattered on a windshield when the last possibility it didn't. Hiro, Yuuki, Hazama (he has so many names) seeks to create absolute chaos in every single dimension, becoming a tyrannical overlord to the ones he likes, destroying all that he doesn't. In the first 2 Continuum Shift games, the main story ends with Ragna losing and Hazama getting even stronger. This however, is not only to further his interdimensional conquest, but to gain enough power to survive MU-12's eventual rebellion and hopefully possess it and wield the Kusanagi. :p Only then would he be able to stand up to the Imperator and then gain ultimate power over all possibilities :p

(spoiler: The Imperator, behind the scenes, uses the Cauldron to make a wish. That wish was to eliminate every possibility except for the current one, leading into Chrono Phantasma, as the story is finally able to progress without the time loop.
