Character Description

An average-looking labrador with a bit of an unusual fashion choice, Lucius studies filmography at the university he attends, with a minor in choreography. He can always be seen with his duffle bag full of camera equipment.
Despite his good nature, he can be reckless and often miffs his teachers due to his lack of punctuality. He works at a nearby park to serve as their groundskeeper for extra money.
Lucius also has a unique ability to make himself intangible if he has a Chaos Emerald, allowing him to walk through thin walls. The more emeralds he has, the thicker of a material he can go through.
Personality
Lucius, being a labrador, is very energetic. He can be easily excited if he sees things happening in the distance and likes to go investigate. He tends to think with his eyes rather than his head, so he can sometimes end up in situations he would ideally avoid. But his good-natured attitude is usually his way out.
He loves to record the world, but is especially fond of music videos. He dreams of being able to make his own, even studying a bit of dance himself to understand limitations and flow.

Background/History
Lucius had a standard life up until his college years. After graduating, he learned his university was offering a 3 year course on film, which covered all the important details. Stills, editing, camera work, mobile units; it covered everything one needed to know if they wanted to get into the industry.
It was during the second semester of his first year he learned more about himself than he realized, first starting with his power. Lucius happened to come across a Chaos Emerald at the park. He kept it in his pocket, intent on handing it to authorities. However, that changed when he tried to get into his dorm and found it locked. To his surprise, when he tried to push it open, he went through the door, alarming himself when he stepped out the other end. It took him only a minute to realize the gem had awakened this power, as he knew none of the world's heroes could do so.
It would also be during that time he took up a job at the nearby park to make extra money for food and supplies, in case his own funds ran out. The park seemed to have a notorious situation with things getting caught in the surrounding river, causing Lucius to jump in often to rescue a person or freeing a drain.
The repeated attempts caused his shoes to become weak and unusable after only a couple months, causing him frustration. Things changed when he came across the campus hippies, who reminded him that most guys only wore shoes and gloves. With his love of fashion meaning he wore a shirt and pants all the time, he was perfectly allowed to just stop wearing shoes altogether and keep from wasting his money.
After a bit of a trial run, Lucius discovered he was much happier with a barefooting lifestyle, though it did mean he had to exercise more caution when going out on rugged terrain and using the park equipment.
Other than that, Lucius' life has been pretty normal. The only thing he does that's different is that if he is late for a class and the teacher locks the door, he is able to bypass it thanks to the emerald in his possession.
Relatives/Family
Lucius' family lives in a smaller town, a few hours away from the university.
