At ease, troops! So what's this you see before you? I suppose this requires some more explanation!
One of the many wonderful privileges afforded to families with status such as mine are positions of rank. Granted, it is ceremonial, but there's almost nobody from among the ranks or officers that doesn't have to salute me!
To say nothing of the fact that only members of the nobility hold rank of "Noble General Field Marshal". If I lived even 150 years ago, I could lead troops to battle myself! These days, I merely get the pleasure of instructing artillery drills, I even get to fire pieces myself.
It is worth noting that my direct ancestor that held this exact rank led troops to battle, commanding batteries of artillery cannons. In fact, my sword and marshal baton were passed down before landing in my hands.
Anyone familiar with military history may recognise elements of my uniform. It combines parts of late 19th century French and German uniforms; The helmet, tunic, sword, collar and cuff tabs, and boots are German. The tunic and epaulette badges, belt, slacks and marshal's baton are French. The sash can be adorned in any number of colours or flags.
Expect to see more of this in future among my many other resplendent outfits!
