Character Description
A figure wrapped in mystery, heard of only in whispers, appearing before those who have been greatly wronged and have nowhere else to turn. Andre is a purveyor of justice, often through permanent means.
At least, he was. His duty now lies in handling magical emergencies, often started by those who wish to obtain power by any means. As an agent of the Grand Magic Council, he still protects those weaker, but with a steadier hand. He has come to understand that a hand holding a sword is meaningless without the other hand stretched out in mercy.
Personality
Often seen as arrogant, but has the skills to back up his confidence. Other times, he is ornery and withdrawn, preferring to stay in his quarters. Has no qualms about violence, but would rather choose intimidation to get enemies to back down before resorting to it.

Background/History
For the past few hundred years, there have been stories of a "rabbit-eared boy cloaked in emerald" that people call upon like a curse upon another. Those who enlist his services are those who have been grievously wronged by others, and the forces meant to protect them fail. These events are followed by a person gone missing or the discovery of a corpse.
Though he may be mistaken as such, Andre is not a demon. He was once a man, born into the family of a successful jeweler. His privilege never overtook his kindness, and believed in fairness and justice above all else. However, others around him did not share these ideals. He was betrayed by those he trusted, and left penniless and destitute. Destroyed and abandoned by the world he knew, he fled underground and vanished.
A few years after is when the stories of his exploits began to appear among the alleys and dark recesses of France. A boy in fine clothing, capable of conjuring weapons from the earth itself, slicing down many sorts of ne'er-do-wells, cheaters and predators. Whenever someone is in the throes of despair of another, they would find a little jewelry shop that was not there moments ago, and be met by the only one who can help them.
This was the legend he had left behind. No one knows why Andre ceased his operation as a "magical contract killer", only that this occurred within the last century. These days, he works as an agent of the Grand Magic Council, an organization made up of the world's most powerful mages and unknown to the greater public. Keeping the peace from wayward mages and monsters, he works alongside allies to protect the greater world.

World/Setting
Andre lives in a modern day setting, which can often make him stand out with his attire. The world today is still full of magic and otherworldly creatures, but they only exist behind closed doors, dark alleyways and deep in the forests. He himself has adapted somewhat to the modern day, albeit with some difficulty, causing some of his coworkers to call him "old man" as a result.
Body
Whatever magic is at work that gives him his abilities and appearance, he also sports a pair of rabbit ears on his head, along with a matching tail.
Clothing
In his home, he prefers to wear finery reminiscent of his origins. He has been known to wear more modern clothes as settings demands.
